Flashbacks to wrapping mine a few months ago. Took me 10 grueling days.... because of work mostly. I was completely fried by the end. And I had to do it in a tiny ass garage.

I've been fairly happy with Hexis wrap. They have a blue metallic that perfectly matches 02c WRB. It saved me some expensive paint work when I was a dummy and left the oem rock chip guards on the car too long. I was unable to get it off the rocker panel moldings without damaging the paint underneath. I wrapped over just the area where the rock chip guard was and you'd never know it was vinyl instead of cpf.

I really don’t like brown or beige cars at all but this color actually looks good. It’s got sort of a bronze/gold tint to it that makes it pop. I like it, I think my favorite color for cars is semigloss pearl white but I wouldn’t mind wrapping my sti this color.

A bit like tailoring a suit, there is a tendency to waste a lot of excess material. Best part of getting a car wrapped apart from changing your color, is that you got a protective film on the panels (which help you from getting scratches)

Brother that’s one hell of a hatch, I love it! I’m thinking a pearlescent white with red tint since everything in the engine bay is red and black. I also want to throw some carbon fenders on and a carbon vented hood. Then I swap to a full black interior. Before I do that tho I’m stashing cash away to properly build the EJ255 and throw on either the same turbo you have or Blouch 440XT. The downside with my current setup and lack of any and all emissions equipment is I’m going to have to go open source or stand alone

This might have been said before but when you are low on any fuel how do you switch back to the other gas. do you have to drain it first or just fill it with the other fuel then switch tunes

Hey tanner. So I’m assuming you already know but in case you don’t, the 2008 wrx came with the td04 turbo and soon after they came with the vf52 which allowed for more power. How much can you reasonably get out of the td04 or is it even worth messing with until I can get my hands on a 52 or some other turbo?

You can't use tech techron with e85? Like in other words you have to put pump gas in your flex fuel tank then use techron? You couldn't just add it to the e85 every month or two?

I wouldent suggest it as it's designed to use with pump gas, I would suggest using it with pump gas

Cool color, is about 7-8 thousandths good for stock valves and cams? I know you set your 2.5 to 6 thow but it had a fully built valvetrain, all I'm going to do is cams. It's the s20 heads from a ej20 engine I got. Just want to make sure it's somewhat within spec before I put those on my engine. Can't wait for the bluebaru to make some sauce.

Hey Smeedia! I know this is a off topic question but I was wondering what are some of the necessity’s for going FBO. I have a Cobb catted downpipe, tomei exhaust, and tomei equal length headers that includes an up pipe. That’s my FBO set up that I have and I was wondering if I should run internal waste gate or external waste gate? Also do you recommend upgrading my fuel system as well? If I upgrade it, which parts? Can it only be injectors and fuel pump, or does it have to be all the parts such as the rails and pressure regulator. Please get back to me, I’m not sure what to do lol and your the only source I can go to.
