Okay so this might sound crazy but I wore wigs for a year after radiation and synthetic was the best (cheapest) option. The BEST way to straighten them was to soak them in water and leave in conditioner and straighten over it aka steam it. Saves so much money and time from using a steamer (:

To moisturize her nose. When the air gets dry if your nose dries out it sometimes causes excess mucus and sometimes cracking which turns into sores inside the nose. I use chapstick and lip moisturizers in my nasal passages as well, but I use a q-tip for sanitary reasons.

Quick ways to style a synthetic wig; •Very shiny? Baby powder, dry shampoo, and shine remover. •thin on the top or the back? Wear a hat and nude nilon wig cap! Adds to the look, and hides the mess! •Dont have a net for storing your long wig? Don't worry! Make a braid and put it in a large ziploc bag! •tangled mess? Fabric softener and warm water, let it submerge and slowly comb from bottom to top! •curly/wavy to straight? You can put the wig on a stand, preferably outside or in a bathtub/shower and drench the wig in hot water ( not boiling) and it should flatten/straighten the wig. Those are the tips I remember from the cosplay days, there might be more tho.
