Here's a few things I would add: 1) add a couple of Swaggon airships or maybe a prototype swaggon in the airship factory 2) add a small Jellie as an operator in the the Scar Statue as an easter egg to season 7 (when she was in charge of the large digging mission to the new Nether) 3) more Jellies in general, there's no way that Scar wouldn't leave a house without a Jellie! 4) anchor the clouds in some way to the mountains or pull from Bio Shock Infinite and put propellers underneath.
@ericbrooms9 ай бұрын
I definitely agree with the propellers, they were the first steam punk thing I could think of to add to a floating city and was kinda disappointed when I didn't see them 🥲

You should add Grumbot somewhere in Mumbo’s base and or Grian’s base. In Grian’s alley make a shop that sells birds, specifically pesky birdsss!! Make Mumbo’s tree monster starter base bigger and better and it’s holding two separate parts of the van whilst yelling. Make a moon shrine in Grian’s alley. Expand the Boatem Pole and make the meeting room an actual meeting room. Make a giant floating swaggon above Scar’s mega base. Make little copper people/cats wearing big hats that inhabit Scar’s mega base and starter base.

This is an insanely awesome transformation. I'd struggle a bit to say my favourite of them all, as both of the Grian transformations are so amazing, but it is definitely the single most impressive and grand by a long shot (As per usual with Scar's stuff too, glad you're being faithful on that front as well XD). Spectacular job on this, I am not wondering one slight bit why it took you this long to upload this video (I respect taking break a lot, as such a daunting task may lead to a burnout which *NOBODY* wants). Also I just want to point out, the fact that Scar's starter base is larger than most people's *MEGA BASES* this season is utterly hysterical, like that man has the most horrid standards for a ''starter base'' and I love it dearly. I think you did a great job transforming the Swaggons (Easily the coolest things Scar did that season) and keeping them faithful with the originals, they are builds so awesome that even the best of the best would struggle quite a bit to add stuff upon to make them better. As for the Mega Base, I really respect the creative decision you took with it, even though I think the idea of a ''mechanical mountain'' could have been expanded upon further, such as adding even more gears and metal prongs coming out of the existing mountains, _which you mentioned in Grian's transformation that they were just placeholders and would've gotten a rework in Scar's transformation_ but I suppose the mountains themselves weren't the primary focus of the transformation, which once again is great! I love the Scar and Jellie (Rest in peace :c) statue, the different cloud districts and everything, it's just so creative, and I respect the decision to make each of the houses completely unique courtesy of Scar, instead of just copy-pasting cookie cutter designs. Spectacular transformation, 9/10, I personally slightly prefer the Midnight Alley one because it was a bit more faithful and whimsical (Plus it included more work on tidying up the middle area of the boatem). Also extra points for that moment at *26:24* like dang, just the mere imagination of this concept almost gave me chills! You might've not been able to transform Scarland, but the way you managed to cope with that is EPIC! *_Now, for a couple suggestions and ideas:_* 1. I'm a bit sad that you didn't tie in the whole Swaggon lore with the mega base itself as it doesn't ever appear in there, I think having the airships be Swaggon styled and all coppery (Just like with the little boats you added) would've been phenomenal. 2. I still think a mail system between all the Boatem members would be awesome, maybe not the actual redstone behind the mail system _(as you mentioned you never want to touch that XD),_ but just a post office in Grian's base connected with a small tunnel to Mumbo, Pearl and the rest of the gang would be awesome. 3. Whlist not technically a Boatem build and on the outskirts of the area, there's that one Octagon build that is a big pirate ship looking boat on spindley legs that I think could be integrated in the area very well. It feels like a part of the base already and I'm sure that's what Doc and Ren were intending it to be to begin with, with the style of Boatem vaguely seen on the design. 4. You should consider giving boatem a main central path of entrance connected to the rest of the continent, as it is by its nature a peninsula, and giving it a gigantic, glamorous entrance sign saying ''BOATEM'' in huge letters. Just like how Scar had his own little entrance sign, except *much* bigger and for the entirety of Boatem. 5. And of course, I really hope you didn't forget about the Boatem Pole/Hole which also needs some love, it is where it all started after all, we wouldn't have this amazing, glamorous, *magnificent* Giga-base or any of its spectacular transformation videos if not for that tiny little thing, and I really hope to see you giving it some love in the Mumbo's transformation video (As he was the one who fittingly enough, named that pile of boats ''Boatem''). I don't expect you to do any of these, but I still think suggesting them is a good choice from me, because they sound like great ideas a builder as talented as you would be easily able to pull off. [Edit-1] One very last thing, why didn't you share any glory shots of the finished base transformation once you were done? *29:09* you only really showed this one admittedly really cool shot of it and that's about it. [Edit-2] *Woweee* I really got carried away with this comment as I always do, whoever actually bothers to ever read this wow, I'm impressed.

Some ideas: 1) Around scar's mega base it would be exciting to see a airship pilot's academy thing 2)In scar starter base you could add an crane area for the boats that carry materials 3) In the road to scarland you can make some taverns on clouds for travelers that need some rest
@eagle_speaks19 ай бұрын
I would add a statue of each hermit or something related to them near each of their bases, making it like sort of a memorial for each person who worked on their areas. Great work so far, Boatem looks even more amazing now!

Here a little thought of mine, instead of having jellies tail change the plantform itself. have the end hanging off the platform instead. or pointed up. this will make the platform keep the orignal shape. and have something outside of it like scar's feet are. Maybe a bit of OCD on my part. but I do draw animals alot. and tails do like to have the end of their tails hanging off for no reason.

You know, I feel like a way to connect everything together is to have the houses which are on Mumbo's arm chair mountain and on Scar's mountain be connected in some way. Maybe even putting some of the houses Mumbo made be on what you made to connect Mumbo's and Grian's bases. With a transition to Scar's City being present.

For impulses base he doesn’t pipes coming out of his base which I though might look cool Also for scar I know you may not have recognized this but you could have max a tunnel from season 8 to the new season 10 train he is making I think for pearl she should have a little extension onto her shop to make a tower that could include a small office that can contain a custom painting - I know that’s a lot of work for you - that shows the pain she has to go through in her trap door door. Last but not least mumbo what if there was a giant aztec pyramid that floats with a trail of blue and cyan glass around the top of his base. These are just some ideas I have love the videos keep up the hard work.
@Nightcrafter8829 ай бұрын
Here's an idea to incorporate: As our protective monster treeser is locked there is no one protecting them from threats like big eye monster and for that either the wagon industry take charge or the temple above Mumbos base ensuring everyone else remains peace love and plants
@Val_da_Shark9 ай бұрын
I said it in the last video on Grian’s base but i really do think that the whole world should be stretched out quite a bit more. Still with plenty of cohesion but still expansive enough that you can look at one base without necessarily seeing the others to such a harsh extent as is current. Altho of course with a knit together Area like Boatem town the bases should certainly still work together to a good extent, altho I think that adding more space between them would still be nice. So more stuff like the extension to the land behind the Swagon train would be wonderful! With all that said this video was absolutely wonderful just like the last!, I’m so glad that you took the time to read through some of the comments we all made :3

I think you should try adding a bit more to Grian's base because it seemed like there was a lot of empty space inside of the mountain, maybe you could add a bunch of little back alleys with different themes or even incorporate Redstone into it to make something like the brick door from harry potter

Some suggestions: 1) It would be really cool if mumbo’s statue on top of his mountain came to life in a sort of “King Kong” fashion (hanging onto the side of the cliff holding a building maybe) 2) I saw in another comment that some small airships floating around boatmen would be a cool idea and I agree 3) I would love to see maybe a longer trail of emission from the boatem private jet going towards where it came from with grain I love the work and these videos! Absolutely amazing builds! I really loved how you did his starter base with the wagons! But to be honest, I didn't get a steampunk vibe from the Cloud City part. From what I've seen, the style focuses a lot on using red bricks, circular windows and buildings or areas that look like giant machines, or have a mechanical function. Maybe try adding some more cogs and smoke pipes? This is probably not relevant to the style but: I've also seen that they use a small amount of electricity to power light bulbs and trams, the style focuses mostly on cogs but also a small amount of electricity. (From what I've seen in concept arts). Also, maybe add some bricked roads going between the different structures to make them seem connected? Since there is only "the cloud" it makes it not look finished in my eyes. I'm not the greatest in these types of building styles or giving advice since I don't build that much steampunk, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Besides that, keep up the good job! I love your builds and building style. I can't say that I am anywhere near your level you are an amazing builder. Can't wait until the next video!
