Can we just take a moment to appreciate all the men like “the Ians” who through their skill and labor allow beautiful renovations like this to be possible? I’m not saying women can’t or don’t work construction, but it’s mostly guys who historically and presently flesh out other people’s visions by doing the majority of this type of work. Without their willingness to choose a job where they get their hands dirty, we wouldn’t have the vast majority of the beautiful architecture and renovations we enjoy. I’m always impressed by the courtesy and appreciation Stephanie treats everyone with, including some who may seem a bit rough around the edges. And the Ians themselves are really kind and courteous communicators as well as skillful craftsmen.

It’s 1.54 AM here in Central Victoria Australia & I have my alarm set for 5.15 AM Stephanie is always so enjoyable to watch & listen to. I love watching the journey & transformation of the chateau. I also enjoy watching the new comers - Steve & Sarah & can’t wait to see of the kitchen tiles that Steve is completing for the kitchen, curtsy of daddy. In Brazil we have those kind of tiles inherited from Portugal which are called "ladrilhos hidraulicos" which mean tiles that are made stronger soked in water so I guess soking them just make them even more durable.
