Liberia is without a doubt the WORST nation in Victoria 3. It’s got malaria, no technology, no industry, it’s unrecognized, it has awful laws and is of course a subject nation to the United States. Is it possible to bring black our African American people to North America and bring about a utopian Wakanda nation given such limitations? I'm gonna be honest: from an IRL standpoint, I enjoy the concept of what Liberia was meant to achieve. Tho, it was very inefficient at the outset and not properly supported initially. It still has a very American-inspired culture, which I think is also unfortunate because they could be so much more unique than that. From what I've been reading, they also don't have very good relationships with the other African countries-continuous political conflict-which is incredibly unfortunate for them, and I hope they get a lot more support.

I honestly wish Paradox would make "ledger" (or however the source of global information is called in Victoria, I'm Eu4 enthusiast) into pure gameplay mechanic, rather than kind of meta-play. I know it's a balancing act for all-knowing AI, but it always breaks my immersion that some small country on the next continent has access to extremely precise information about nation with no spies inside, nor other means of actually securing valuable intel.

You should play as the East Indies. Don’t form Indonesia. You’ll be able to get #1 GDP even if you limit yourself to the Indonesia region. The difficulty comes from being an occupier under a (usually) weak nation.

Being unrecognized also gives you a very high interest rate, which means going into debt is significantly worse for an unrecognized power. It should also be mentioned that Separation of Church is the least discriminatory religion law since State Atheism only accepts Atheism. State Atheism is also bad for performance since it makes about 20% of your population convert to Atheism, which makes pop fragmentation, causing more calculations.

There are mods that allow you to transfer save states between games. So you can play a game of CK2/CK3, transfer it to EU4 and play that, then transfer it to Vic2 (idk if the Vic3 conversion mod has been made yet) play that, and then transfer it to HOI4 and play that. If that's what you mean by playing one nation through all timelines. You can also start at Imperator Rome and transfer that to CK2/CK3 if you want to start that early
