I’ve developed an attachment to that warm old earthy hearth after watching all your vids for so long 😂. It looks so camp fire cozy in the background with your warm incandescent lighting. But what’s funny is how my mind’s eye gave you $1.5M of living space around it 🤣. I envisioned a huge expansive living room off to your right side and a 400sf island kitchen on your left. I think that you should execute your vision, since it is your space. With that said, since it is the space that you use to shoot your videos, it will change the mood of your content unless you are very intentional with your lighting.

i think the rework of the space leaves it feeling much fresher and more modern; whitewashing the fireplace i think would be on the verge of “sterile”, but red bricks in the new design gives it a grounding sense of warmth. by the way, the way you explained the intention and effects of each decision or element was really helpful and informative! very appreciated and it made for a fantastic video!

I suggest to have a indirect lighting of teh ceeling. this will provide a more spacious feeling. these days you have very good led strip lighting.

Procreate and Goodnotes have completely changed how I work too, It's supper convenient and is readily available for architects and engineers!🤓 Awesome video and I dig the new setup!

2.4m = Low ceiling height. I wish New Zealand homes had higher ceilings! It is so rare to find 3m ceilings. I love the extra freedom one experiences in a vaulted ceiling after having the compression in the passageways though. (Not a common design choice, but I've found a few)

I am currently looking at re-modeling/re-doing my house one room at a time and i did not know you could use your i pad to come up with a design that you could follow. I am a relative new viewer on you channel and i wanted to say your videos are really well put together. I think the easiest way to start sketching with an ipad is to take a photo of an existing space and start sketching on top of it like I have done here. I typically don't use it to create a finished rendering, but just to test out ideas that I wana develop more, so don't worry so much about making a perfect drawing. Also, take advantage of the layers so you can easily swap out options. 😉

Oink Oink.. I am looking at the truck.. I am not sure why this Truck is in front of the Mail Box.. I would look out the window but I don't see anyone inside the Truck.. I don't see any movement inside the Truck.. I am putting the Letter into the envelope.. folding the piece of paper into half.. this time I wrote two Letters and putting into One Envelope.. just letting YOU know how much I can't stop telling YOU the way I feel.. My Heart wants to burst.. like my Head wants to Burst.. my eyes wants to burst into tears.. as I would fold the two Letters putting into One envelope.. Looking out the window.. I don't see any One.. I don't see the mail man either.. it has been sitting by the Mail box for few hours Now.. I just did not want to go Out but.. then.. what do I do with the two letters I wrote you this Letters.. if there is No Mail man to drive this Truck.. is that Means I can be the Mail Man tonight.. is this Truck for Me.. is it for me to drive.. so is it time for me to see YOU finally.. maybe I can put the Uniform and can act like I be Your Mail man.. of course I am going to tell YOU that the Letters.. which I wrote is me.. If you are to ask Me.. where is the Other Mail man.. I would tell YOU.. I think he is sick so I have come to drive this Truck.. the Time has come for me to finally see YOU.. to tell YOU that it is Me.. all this Time.. I been sitting in my room.. with the Piece of paper.. and the eraser.. with the pencil.. I would write YOU a Letter.. Looking at YOUR picture.. I see the piece of Paper with letters to sentences into paragraphs becoming long as I would keep on thinking of YOU to tell YOU this Heart of Mine.. But last night.. I was out side walking.. I saw the Moon above Me and I wanted to see YOU.. I asked the MOON.. when will be the GOOD TIME for me to see YOU.. and looking UP at the Moon.. do YOU think the TIME is right.. asking the Moon Above Me.. I wish that the Moon can speak Back because all I can do is LOOK UP at the MOON and just wait.. waiting can be Hard sometimes.. because what if I wait but the TIME will never come to Me.. what if I keep on waiting but there is NO answer on the Other side.. am I just waiting for Nothing.. I would look UP asking that MOON.. what if the TIME be never.. which I do not like to put myself in that situation.. what if Never comes.. what if I stand still like this and everything just stops or pauses before my eyes and Only thing I do is wait but only waiting continues.. I would stand still.. LOOKING UP.. my eyes.. and I would feel so sad.. and tears fills my eyes.. and I would say.. DO you know that I want to be Loved.. I want to hear what YOU have to say.. I want to hear the words I love YOU and I miss YOU from your Lips.. what if nothing ever happens.. and I would stand in the Night.. LOOKING UP at the sky.. LOOKING at the MOON and only thing I can do is wait.. just wait until YOU are truly ready.. what if YOU never wants to be ready.. or YOU end up loving someone else.. as I would think about this.. the tears would run down.. my eyes.. I would look at your Picture.. just wishing.. just hoping I can see YOU.. to meet you soon.. and I am just wondering.. would YOU let me see YOU.. would you open the door so that I can see YOU.. will you let me in.. and to hold Your hand.. as I would hold the Paper in my hand.. the Letter and give it to Your hand.. as I would open the TOP lid of the whiskey Bottle.. Holding and pouring into the Shot Glass.. and I am just sitting.. turning to look out the Window watching the light rain fall.. I would grab the Shot Glass after putting the Whiskey Bottle down.. and Open my Mouth and slam into my Mouth.. I can feel the harsh of the Liquor going in.. and I would sit just waiting for the Big Kick.. I would pour another on the Shot Glass and placing the Whiskey Bottle Down.. picking UP the Shot Glass.. Open my Mouth.. and Slam into my Mouth.. I am just waiting to feel that Buzz.. and just looking at YOU in the picture.. WHY can't I see YOU.. why don't you let me see YOU.. DID I ever done anything wrong to YOU.. would YOU let me visit YOU.. just please give me few minutes of your Time.. I am not asking for Hours but just even minutes is all I am asking for.. why can't YOU tell me that I am allowed.. please give me the permission to get close to YOU.. allow me for few minutes is all I need.. just to look at your eyes.. just too look at your hands.. It is My Heart whose been asking for YOU.. It is my Heart whose been crying from the Inside.. screaming of this pain.. screaming of this Ache of wanting to be with YOU..
