That Venetian is looking good! If you want to enhance the shine what you can do is after you burnished the top coat you can sand with 5000 grit. The 5000 grit gives it a final polish and leaves an enhanced mirror like shine

Hey, this is Edwin Rodas. I watch a video on Sunday. I’m from Nashville, Tennessee USA I really like it. I love it on the block. Did you ever try for the clear wax before the black wax they give you a more glossy finish and I think that you can see a color of your clothes when you apply for clear wax and then so you can apply your black wax and polish, and they can almost see your reflection, but I like your style and I love it. First time I watch you thank you for your video.

Thanks Bro. Very Nice. I wanna know what do you do to a wall that has been plastered with cement and sand, what is the process of changing that over.
@BuildWithAE6 ай бұрын
It would technically be possible to use venetian plaster over render, providing that it is totally sound and that you use the correct primer. It's very important that the substrate you are plastering onto is solid, as any movement will transfer into the plaster and could cause cracking or delamination. I hope this helps. All the best, John 👷🏻♂️

Hi, Even if you have already been asked the question, you have not answered. Could you please tell us what kind of sandpaper grain you used after the first coat of putty and after the second coat? Also by chance did you pass the sandpaper even after the third coat, or was it enough to brown with a trowel? Did you pass the polisher with the wool disc after the wax? Please give us this information if you really want to help us? I await your reply and thank you.

I am writing to you from Italy. It's a nice end result. I would have liked to have seen more. I found the video too synthetic, for example the bluing with the passage of the blade is not visible. I also wanted to see how you did the rectangle in the middle of the blue .. However, you can at least tell me what kind of sandpaper you used to sand. that is, what type / size of grain did you use in the various coats of Venetian plaster ???? also did you color the black wax or do they sell it like this? Are the products, ie waxes and putty, Oikos brand? or which ones? Thank you for your reply.

How would you get the marble effect
@TheBrick23 жыл бұрын
What's the product like? looks like thick paint. You mention that most of the products are lime based, are they more like colours lime putty? It look like really tight coats, then the burnishing on a diagonal. It that for the right effect? Did you choose to start high on the diagonal on the light side or was that chance? Do you buff the wax after with a soft cloth?
