You can tell this pup has been exposed to a grooming table all of his life. He is beautiful and so well behaved! This is so informative. I am getting my 2nd WFT next week and hopefully I can strip him myself. I did my first for a half of his 14 years, to keep his coat colors intact as well as the feel. All of the copper turned beige and the black went greyish once I started to clip him. He was our pet/house dog and striping became very taxing in him. I was a bit slow!😊

By far the best video on WFT handstripping! 👏 Bravo! I live in a remote area in the USA and the one groomer who knew how moved away. My little guy is so furry. I love this stage one and the stage two video. I could never quite put my finger on how to shape him but you give such good bench marks for the jacket and face and legs. Thank you so much! I have watched a lot of videos about hand stripping. However, your video is extremely educational and has details that other videos lack. Until now, I used the services of my friend Australian Champion in dog grooming, but due to covid restrictions, I cannot go to her and I have to do it myself. This video is so amazing! My fox terrier pup cannot stay still and is scared every time I try to groom her. Do you have any advice on how to make her less scared and more patient?

Also, she doesn't have much coarse hair around the neck area, mostly really fluffy soft hair that's difficult to strip. We have never clipped her hair, only stripping. Is this normal?

Hello , Thank you for your message . normally, when it's not for a video , it takes about 2 to 3 hours from beginning till finish . only the finish is about 1 hour, depending if it's a show dog or competition or home dog . Please let us know if we can help you further . Kind regards;
