Transient vision loss

I was driving today and coughed so hard I could not see for almost 5 seconds and I was on the highway. Was the scariest thing I have ever experienced.

Very informative. Lost most of my left vision yesterday for a few minutes. Has happened before. Started at the bottom and went rapidly opaque taupe with a sliver of distorted vision remaining at top. Dr. offered antidepressants and come back in 3 months, and neurologist suggested seeing a different neurologist.

I was sent to ED and they didn’t know what to do with me…I needed prednisone! I’m being screened for Temporal Arteritis (GCA)
