Thank you so much!! wouldn’t say the nerve crosses the visual field, it’s actually the refracted light itself - it’s just that snell’s law causes left/right and up/down flips such that the temporal visual fields are the jurisdiction of the nasal retina. But I suppose it’s helpful to just keep coloring across the left goes left and right goes right pattern

Eyes (unaffected portion) always sees to the lesion side eg. 1. If both eyes inside half is unaffected the lesion is in the optic chiasm ( eyes looks inside) 2. If both right side portion is unaffected so the lesion is on the right optic tract so same for the left side You can use it for any kind of lesion, hope this one will help

there are 2 rules to know for you to understand this shit; 1; temporal field projects to the nasal retina, nasal field projects to temporal retina 2; temporal hemiretina remains uncrossed, nasal hemiretina crosses make sure you understand this cause everything else builds on it especially with the lesions

SO what causes the blockage to the right eye close to the top up close to the eye for the eye to lose sight and if one can see images out of the eye and its not a total loss then what has happen in the optic nerve to cause the blockage ?
