Nice video Ajay. Talgo 250 manufactured high speed trains are equipped with tilting technology. When trains are going on a curve at high speeds, passengers inside experience a centrifugal force away from the curve causing discomfort. To prevent this, the trains tilt towards the curve. Many Shinkansen bullet trains in Japan and the Acela express in the US use tilting technology. This technology is not implemented in Vande Bharat expresses yet but Indian railways has plans to incorporate this technology in 2025. The track gauge used in Uzbekistan is Russian gauge and this same gauge used in other former Soviet countries like Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan. The gauge width is 1520 mm and is slightly smaller than the broad gauge used in India (1676 mm).

Hi Ajay: Interesting journey by semi high speed train. Samarkand is a very historical place too. By the way, please do not press any random buttons in the train once the doors are closed. You will get in trouble in many countries for interfering with the operations of a train.

Super travel vlog Ajay. Travel by Talgo train is really Top class. Their Stations are so neat and clean. Only Valid ticket holders are allowed inside their stations while in our country even ticketless passengers freely enter the station and also come to the platform and board trains with impunity. Strict Ticket checking should be done at the entrance itself. Happy that you could buy Raw Rice in the local super Market and ate cooked rice with Thengai Podi. Nice to see Tram Service on the road. Traffic is also less. Fully loved and enjoyed this Digital travel with you.

Ajay, in this episode you showed a chips packet and said that they give sweet chips and not savory ones. The Gujarati people in our country also add plenty of sugar to the dhal and add “ Molaga podi” to AAMRAS ( mango pulp juice); what a contrast! I also noticed that in Uzbekistan videos, large number of Chevrolet cars are seen everywhere. I recognized them in the pictures looking at the logo.

TALGO trains are made by a company in Spain. These trains were also experimented in India about 8 or 10 years ago, but were found unsuitable by Indian Railway engineers for our country.

Regarding entry into railway stations. You mentioned that in Uzbekistan they will not permit entry unless you have valid tickets. You also said that in our country we can enter railway stations “Jallia”. In India too entry into railway stations is permitted only with valid journey tickets or a platform ticket. But the sad fact is that rules are easily broken, or not followed properly in India. Obedience to rules is something that the European countries can be proud of.

In 2015, Indian Railways conducted a trial run of a Talgo train on the Delhi-Mumbai route. The train completed the journey in 12 hours 55 minutes, which was significantly faster than the fastest existing train at the time. However, Indian Railways ultimately decided not to purchase Talgo trains, citing concerns about the cost and the need to modify existing infrastructure to accommodate them.

Ajay, in you last episode in Uzbekistan travel, you had shown a toy tank with gun which you got with a pack of some snacks. You gave it to some child. An interesting point is that during the 1960s and 1970s most Soviet countries had in toy shops only toys modeled after military hardware and weapons. In fact many people had remarked that giving toys to children in the form of guns or tanks will not bring love or affection but hate, cruelty and attacking mentality. All communist countries of that era, like Russia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Romania, East Germany, promoted such cruel toys only.
