Transition Metal Complexes (A2 Chemistry)

This video aimed at A-level students, explains the meaning of the term ligand and transition metal complex. It also describes the bonding in transition metal complexes and discusses the formulas and shapes of some common examples. Finally it shows students how to draw the structure of these complexes and how to work out the coordination numbers and oxidation numbers of the transition metals within them.
