Please pin me I have been relaxing my hair since I was four I want to go natural I tried transitioning 2 times but I gave in to my mom who said I should relaxed my hair I want to go natural please give me some advise.

Hi Kaylin! Depending on your age, you may have no choice, but to listen to your mom right now and that's okay. When I first transitioned, I had to listen to my mom for a little bit too until I got older. If you are of an age though where you can still make the decision, I would suggest becoming as knowledgeable about transitioning and what your hair will likely be like after chopping as you can be! This way you'll know more of what to expect and be less swayed by anyone's opinions, even if they're family. I'd also refrain from talking about my decision with her or anyone else who may try to convince me otherwise, so I can stay strong and excited in my decision.
