It's always nice to have someone slow it down and walk you through it and show some of the most common mistakes people make 😊

It's always nice to have a target range in your backyard. You can set up all kinds of scenarios. I have dune this drill, and yes, I hit the outside of the arms every time. Never thought about turning my head and looking at the target first Thanks 😊

Yeah I still push past sometimes when I’m pushing for speed, so dialing back to 0 on speed sometimes helps me re-calibrate

Two good videos on the hand eye transition part one is an old Todd Jaret Blackhawk video & the other is Frank Proctor on Way of the gun. Frank does a great job explaining taking your eye to the target and slowing your arms/gun down as the sights hight the edge of your peripheral.

As you said, I get a lot of transition "eyes leading gun" reps in a short period of time in dry fire. Also, I am amazed people complain about you pointing your gun at them through the camera. When they watch John Wick, do they drop to the floor during every gun battle scene? If so, they are missing the whole movie.

It’s funny how many people get hung up on that! haha

When I shot USPSA in the 90’s (we were on the birth of red dots and put them on our race guns and had to make our own mounts)(I was on the Cherokee Pistol Team and we were sponsored by Safariland). I tended to do the same thing when trying shoot at blazing speeds. Usually shooting a D and C coming to the target. I was a Master unlimited and A a class shooter 😎😎
