TT Special - The Bessarion Subway Line

Did you know Bessarion was going to be a major transit interchange?
Well, no, not until April 1st. But now that it's April 3rd, I hope you'll enjoy this parody video of Toronto transit politics with our history of plans for the Bessarion subway line. My Dad and his family used to live in Caracas so I have many child hood memories at talara park. My late grandma used to take care of the ice rink there.

I thought Bessarion station was supposed to be an eventual interchange with the Ontario Line when I first started watching

I do like the bus for serving low demand areas for public transit but again I don't because some routes are not as frequent as promised. E.g. A 69B or 69A was supposed to arrive at its bus stops every 20 minutes but delays for 37-40 minutes sometimes.

That would be cool, but seriously, 2 stations is not enough to support a rapid transit line. At least "this line from Bessarion to Talara Park" would have more stations in other parts of North York. But yes I understand, politicians and agencies decide what mode of transit to use not the people.

So let me guess,,, the city of toronto is going to pay for a subway that goes "one stop"? (2 bus stops)? Yet they want to rip down the Scarborough line and replace that with a few extra buses.Where did the city planning committee get these people? what shopping mall bubble gum machine did they get their university degree from?
