Keep in mind that your teacher may be the determining factor in how difficult a course is and how you do on the exam. They can make a break the experience. For example, my APUSH teacher was awesome. I genuinely enjoyed that class and learned a crap ton. Got a 5 on the exam. The AP Chem and AP Stats teachers though... Let’s just say I dodged a bullet when I chose not to take those classes.

I love AP physics it's pretty cool but hate how difficult it is ;( I always have to warn people not to take it unless they are up for a challenge

Out of these, I took, AP US Gov, APUSH and AP Lit I got a 5 on AP US Gov and APUSH and I got a 3 on AP Lit.

Transizion I’m going for chemical engineering so I figured it was a good class to take. One of the hardest parts was that I took the course at the same time that I took AP Calc AB. So basically I had to do calculus in physics before I even learned it in calc.

Great and well made video👍. My question is would you recommend taking ap seminar? Im having mixed opinions because some people recommend it and some people say its a waste of time and money and colleges barely even look at it. On top of that my upperclassmen said the workload is large, and im already planning to take APUSH and AP chem next year. Should i take seminar?

Also the reason why people say that colleges barely look at it is because the AP Capstone program for Seminar and research (next year) is not offered at a wide variety of schools, so colleges do not take this into much consideration on your application. I just dont want to waste my time on a class that isnt going to do me any good besides give me a large workload.

All right, you make some good points, and I see what you mean. Before I were to give you a more clear answer, you (and I, for that matter) need to clarify your goals, roadmap for high school, and potential college list. More specifically, here's what you need to take into consideration: - Can you take other AP classes not including AP seminar? Do you have more options? If so, then you might want to take others. - Are you applying to a top-tier college? Colleges want to see that you're challenging yourself and that you're prepared for the rigors of their campus. Taking a good load of APs signals to colleges that you will be able to handle yourself as a student. - Do you have a prospective major that you'd like to pursue? It's OK if you don't know this, but if you want to be a doctor and, thus, study pre-med in college, then it's worth taking AP bio of AP seminar. All told, don't not take AP seminar because it does or doesn't look "good" for colleges. It's more important to be genuine about what you want to study. If you really can get an A in seminar and it's your only choice, then it might be a good idea to take it. If, however, seminar is a total pull on your workload and you have an option for another AP class, then it might be worth it to skip seminar and take the other AP class. Should I do ap physics 1 if I want to be an engineer or any type. Exactly which engineering discipline I want is undecided. I did honors physics already so I’m thinking of doing the ap one. My school doesn’t offer ap physics c so I can only do ap physics 1 (can’t do ap physics 2 since you have to do 1 first and I’ll be a senior when I do ap physics 1) I’m unsure of what exactly would be the best choice so your feedback is appreciated.

Based on what you told me, if you want to take an AP Physics class, your only option is Physics 1 unless you want to self-study or take it online. :)

Don't be scared! It's a wonderful and interesting subject. Worrying over something won't make it any easier, so do your best, focus on the test ahead, and put one foot in front of the other. Do not worry!

i took it my freshman year and had the class only for 2 months bc of corona. had to teach myself the rest of the unit and passed with a 3!! it’s very interesting and fun. you’ll do great

i want to take 3-4 aps next year (for my junior year) but everyone i asked told me to take 1-2 aps 🥲 my math teacher said “people who take 3-4 aps aren’t happy”

It really comes down to wanting to challenge yourself. Challenging yourself won't always lead to immediate happiness - in fact, it rarely does - but ask yourself what YOU want to do. What gives meaning to your life? What does your character lead you toward? If you want to challenge yourself, then take 3-4 APs.

Hey there, AP Bio is hard, but, IMHO, it's more memorization of basic concepts than analysis. You will need to read a lot. Are you OK with that?

@@jasonpatel13 Next year I am taking ap physics 1, ap us history, and ap language. I plan to get a good score on the exam for ap physics and us history but I am not sure about ap language because I don't do so good in English and this is a new area I plan to better myself in. I might take the exam for it or not, but I will decide later. I am not worried about Physics because I do pretty good in Science and Math, however I never took an ap science course, so I will still do my best. For Ap us history, I plan to do better than how I did in ap world history and study more. I hope I accomplish my goals that I plan to achieve but I don't know what will unfold in the next year of school.

@@logan6525 Good, I'm glad you're challenging yourself and bettering your skills. As you grow older, be sure to always improve. Never settle, always push forward. Always strive to do your best. On top of that, whether it's an AP course or any other type of obstacle, never back down from a challenge. You will be better for it in the long term. You WILL accomplish your goals - I know it. Regardless of what unfolds next year, as long as your principles are strong and you're willing to work hard, you will be successful. Let me know if you have any other questions or pain points. I also been thinking something related to math since I enjoy it in school. I don't really know anything for sure yet becuase there are so many options and I don't want to pick the wrong one.
