For some reason it was incredibly difficult to find people that showed examples of the curves moving over the x axis. I was always thrown off when a position graph crossed the x-axis as I had initially assumed this would change the velocity from negative to positive. This has cleared up so much confusion. Thank you.

Can a vertical slope exist in physics? For example, if an object is stationary and x=0 meters for 10 seconds, does that mean a vertical slope, undefined sloped or?
