I am taking Physics without calc but I took calc before and learned this. I forgot about it because it's been a year since I took calc. I kept asking people to explain or waiting for it to be explained in the lectures but no one has been able to help me like you have. my physics teacher gave us a quiz with displacement, velocity and acceleration today, and the entire thing was a quadratic graph where we had to identify all 3 of those as +,-,(or zero)...and never told us the relationship between concavity and a TT

I think the graph in 26:18, graph 2 has acceleration positive, because the arrow go straight down, but the graph 3 has negative acceleration, because the arrow paralel to t axis, so it mean the position doesnt change.
