Why is the Canada Line separately branded and managed from Skytrain when it is seen by the public as the same - and technical differences are not apparent to the users? Metro lines to airports can be slow to build and delayed by politics and arguments over how far airport owners should pay for them. (Examples - London Heathrow, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Edinburgh, Paris CdeG, Brussels, Hamburg, Dublin (still not built)....) But they tend to end up being run as part of the general metro system.

Fawn Winter since there haven't been a reply yet I can tell you how long it takes. From New Westminster to YVR it should take about 75 mins (including the transfer at Waterfront).

If you're starting at New West it would be shorter if you get off at Metrotown, take the 49 to Langara-49th, then the Canada Line. You won't have to loop all the way up to downtown and down back to the airport, adding extra distance.

a little question sins im going to Vancouver this fall. Do I need a compass card to take the Canada Line, from YVR to Downtown Vancouver?. If I do can I buy it at the YVR Station?. Oh and great video 👍 enjoy seeing all your vids.

Sorry for the late reply, I actually don't have a set amount of request video. It feels a bit overwhelming if I have a bunch of request if everyone had requested videos from my channel, but if you have one in the future, shoot me a message anytime. I may or may not do some request videos (For example I will not do request videos on: School Special buses, Night Bus or Night runs, Community Shuttle (May contain unwanted Radio noises from drivers, sometimes late), and Special Run Buses in Rush Hour* (Talk to me in the future if I can do those bus routes like 22 Via Industrial or 169 Via Riverveiw)
