Transmission and Differential Ratio Explained | Grand Truck Simulator 2 (GTS2) Tips and Tricks

The two numbers refer to the first gear and last gear ratios, ex. Scania 13.5/1 (first gear is 13.5:1, last gear is 1:1). You only need to look at the second number for max speed, so the fastest would be the Mach 8-gears 13.1/0.6 it's lower than 1 meaning your output shaft will turn more than the input or what they call overdrive. For differential just choose the one with the lowest ratio (Meritrox 2.64)

Personally, I find the meritrox 2.64 as too low a ratio for starting when loaded on an incline, like the chance to stall is a bit of a concern

IN the current version It is not possible. Because Devoloper fixed Speed limiter in the truck. If we want to increase truck speed them we should remove Speed limiter

in GTS 2 the MB 1114 Tractor has the worst fuel economy of all trucks in the game 100 liters per 100km from its 140hp engine even with the 16 speed gearbox (0.73:1) top gear and the small diff 2.64:1 and the least throttle opening that is just unrealistic for a 6 liter 6 cylinder diesel 😂 I should get atleast 20-30 liters per 100km
