Transparency with Biased Reviews, WTF Scentbird & More Questions and Comments Answered!

Oh, Scentbird. I couldn't wait to sign up with them. My first month was August and I felt it took forever to send me my chosen fragrance. I thought maybe it was because I was a new customer and Sept would be better. In Sept, my chosen bill/payment date came and went and they never charged my account. I finally contacted customer support to ask what was happening and told them I didn't want to miss my Sept fragrance. They responded that they had been trying to charge my account and they were not able to since there were no funds available, but not to worry...it had coincidently just gone through that day. I had plenty of money in my account the whole time and this made no sense. I contacted my bank and they said there had been no previous charge attempts by them that month. Okay. Again, it seemed to take forever for them to even send it out, and shipping took forever also. As soon as I got it in the mail it was almost Oct and I dreaded going through that again. Looking at my account, instead of early Oct, it said my next payment would be in early Nov. What? I again contacted customer support and said I didn't want to miss my Oct fragrance and wanted to make sure I would be charged in October. When CS got back to me a couple of days later, they said I would be charged in Oct and not to worry, and said they had a look at my account and took a screenshot of my next payment date, which now showed October. I literally looked at that same page numerous times a day, so when I got the email with the screenshot I immediately went to my Scentbird account, and yep, it suddenly said early Oct was my next payment date. This might not sound like a big deal to some people, but I can't be dealing with a company that is going to gaslight me. They could have just been honest in the first place and said there was some glitch or something and they had charged me that day, and sorry for the delay, or whatever. On the second encounter with CS, again they should have owned the mistake and said they corrected the next payment date and then sent a screenshot to show it was corrected. Instead, on both occasions, they took no responsibility for such mundane problems. It bothered me so much that I canceled a few days later. I know this isn't a Scentbird video, but just hearing the name has triggered me apparently. Sorry for the rant and wall of text. Love your videos and I appreciate your descriptive reviews!

Scentbird has charged me for the last 2 months and I haven't got a shipment since July!! I've emailed them we will see what they have to say! 🤔🤬🤬

i love scentbird however waiting an entire month for shipments is just insane.

When it comes to Navitus, Ashton (ExtraGentsScents) kind of blew the doors open on the whole industry of companies using YT content creators (his video posted 2 days ago) and after the dust settles, their fragrances aren't bad at all, its just their contracts and marketing practices probably disappointed the creators more than the customers, IMO. And a question that's been on my mind for awhile is that as a collector what you thought of Areej Le Dore and why you haven't collected them. I find Russian Adam one of the most "complete" independent perfumer in terms of ingredients, bottle/packaging design, pricing structure, and YT content creator and more recently collaborative efforts with other perfumers.
