Honestly, how gorgeous is this Smokey Black nail especially when the Mega Gloss goes on top? However, Jesus, I swear to god this bloody design gave me more grief than any other ha ha ha. Doing this design on myself took me 5 hours to complete the ten nails and while they looked magic and I received sooo many compliments on them, I will NEVER do this again on myself. Maybe on someone else but not me. Love you Kirsty. I’m not sure you truly understand what you do for us. ❤️🇦🇺

You'll see this with a lot of nail tech's. It's typically due to over exposure to the products. I've developed a reaction myself and cannot wear gel or acrylic that contains two chemicals called HEMA and HPMA that are unfortunately in almost every single brand. But, there are options and I won't name brands out of respect of the channel.

O! M! G! That is a very long nail!!! Sculpted soooo fast!! It looked like the black was going to mingle and turn into a one colour nail . . . but !! U nailed it, Kirsty! That was amazing! It looks like real smoke and much better than painted smoke because it has depth! Sculpting with clear and clear mixes gives them a beautiful depth that I love so very much. I mix small amounts of glitter into the clear and the glitter looks like sparkly specks all spread out. Thanx Kirsty. That nail was amazing. I love watching u sculpt. It gives me Eureka moments when I realise my mistakes and see how it should be done. Also I get ideas for my next nail sculpting endeavor :D Thank u

Cassandra Orr are you using nail tips? If so, make sure they're the correct size and not too snug. They tend to lift if they're not the right fit 😊

Make sure to push back the cuticle. If your acrylic or gel goes onto the cuticle whilst making the nail, you've got more chance of lifting. Hope this helps 🤗

could be many things... any dust left on the nail before applying the product. The dehydrator doesn't dry completely and leaves oils on the nail. It could also be a brand incompatibility between the primer you use and the monomer.

I would love to see more videos especially ones of her doing her own nails Full sets with unique nails on each nail things of that nature. I'd also really like to see a design of clear acrylic with the chrome powders stacked between layers of clear gel polish to see what effect it would have. o-o. You could also do a version with white acrylic as a backing and black acrylic as a backing or one with like pearls or something suspended in the acrylic layer so it looks buried under the chrome effect.

Can you do a vid on the nail stickers that you have to pull away real quick idk what tocall them kinda foils, they almost look like angel paper. I have a beautiful design and had alot of trouble! I always wondered how much these kind of nails cost? Where I live they don’t do it like this, I can’t find a place that uses forms they have always used a fake nail on the tip then they would apply the acrylic I’ve always wanted these type of nails but I can’t find them but if I did I would like a estimate

You won't find this type of work at the corner walk-in nail salon. Most glue on tips, then overlay with acrylic using illegal MMA liquid, These methods are to create fast, cheap nails. Legal acrylic cost us (reputable nail techs) 7 or 8 times as much to buy. Sculpting with a nail form takes time and talent, but are stronger and can be shaped how you want them. Tips are pre-formed. Look on Instagram in your city for nail techs. Call around and ask if they offer sculptured nails. Ask if they use legit nail liquid. There are good techs out there, using safe products to create beautiful nails. They will not be working at the corner quickie nail salon.
