Personally i believe that the trans person was there for a more nefarious self centered reason. I cant speak for any of you, but im sure that yall are pretty much aware that putting yourself in an online dating situation, where 99% of the people are not trans will be a mixed bag most likely not in your favor. Am i saying its right? No, but that is why there are friendly spaces out there for everyone. i just saw someone who wasent interested. He was definitely very extra, but i wouldnt call him a bigot.
@sandwichqueen28 күн бұрын
@@CarterMartin-cu4hu You should watch the rest of the video. Or is listening to a woman talk too hard for you to do? Also, I'm pretty sure she is there for the same reason everyone else is there. Implying she was there for another reason seem to me like you think just because she's trans she doing something bad. And that's probably why you missed the transphobia despite him literally making a scene out of it. It wasn't the trans person who dramatically popped her balloon due to being trans. Way to blame the victim for existing. If you were a woman, why would you want to date someone who's so rude. When people are transphobic, it's usually misogyny that quickly follows. Typically a lot of woman learned they have to stick together because people like this guy exists. Nowadays most feminism doesn't differentiate between who is deserving of respect or not.

@granaures454728 күн бұрын
I appreciate you bringing up "muh preference" because many people are willing to say "yes, you don't need to date somebody you're not attracted to" because it is entirely possible to not be attracted to certain characteristics, or have a desire to have children with your partner. Without fail, though, the ones that lean hardest on that defense inevitably out themselves as being willing to dump a partner for winding up infertile or cry about being "forced" to date trans people. As you said, he could have just said "not interested" and moved on where no one would really mind, but instead made a scene and made himself look significantly worse. I also find funny that the two women who didn't immediately pop their balloons absolutely missed that this is how the homeslice acted while on camera in a full studio with somebody that is not doing anything but existing. How do they think he would react behind closed doors during an argument? So I'm glad they at least dodged that potential bullet.
@dietotaku28 күн бұрын
what i've noticed is that those type of people will come out swinging against trans people saying "I DON'T DATE TRANS WOMEN I'M JUST NOT ATTRACTED TO TRANS WOMEN" often DO find trans women attractive *when they aren't aware those women are trans.* take samantha for example, she's hot af, and these men know it and they would absolutely smash. but once they're aware she's trans, their dumb little lizard brain goes "OH NO A MAN THAT MAKES ME GAY!" because fundamentally, there is no difference in superficial attractiion between cis women and trans women. there are hot cis women and hot trans women, there are ugly cis women and ugly trans women, being trans isn't part of the equation. they just act like it is to avoid that dumb lizard brain gay panic out of the gate.

Gee, that level of disrespect and that he clearly thought it was like cool and masculine or something (guessing from his body language) is wild. The two who didn't pop their balloons after, even if he DID pick them, that is an indication of how he might treat them as well. That kind of confidence in being so blatantly disrespectful in a very public setting isn't something that often just revolves around a single issue. Maybe those women aren't trans, but there's probably other things that they could do that he would feel justified in being that disrespectful about. It happens all the time, and there is a societal pressure that reinforces sure, but it comes down to this idea of "oh, but he won't do this to ME, so it's fine," and then that is rarely how it goes.

Idk why all my crushes end up being homophobic and transphobic. I obviously don’t know this at the beginning of me liking them, but nowadays I honestly just assume that most boys I meet are going to be like that. The second I find out, I get super embarrassed that I ever cared about them and regret ever telling people I liked them (which is why I also tend to avoid telling people my crushes nowadays). I know there’s really nothing you can do to help, but I just want to see if anybody has ANY advice at all….

I got a feeling those two women who didn't pop their balloons probably have never been told they weren't good enough because if you don't feel for the woman that he disrespected off rip right there, you've probably not ever been told to your face how much you're not worth it. And that is a shitty feeling to be told you're not worth it, or to tell it to yourself. And it doesn't take much to put yourself in her shoes and think about how that made her feel. Thats why those women who popped their balloons without hesitation are badass and I respect the hell out of them. Those women who didn't, they can stand on the other side of the line that people like them drew.

He was just being a pure asshole It's one thing to say that you're not interested in Transwomen in a respectful way but to completely disrespect someone to justify your transphobia or homophobia is beyond disgusting..that person didn't deserve to get treated so cold like that everyone has a right to choose their preferences but it doesn't mean you get the license to hurt people just because you don't like or understand someone.

Why are you getting mad at him? He most definitely showed up for a woman, NOT a trans one. Get mad at the showrunners who most likely only put the trans person in there for the purpose of getting a reaction. You MUST think critically about things. Don't just look at something and make an inference about what you are seeing. Truly intelligent people can make an inference on WHY they are seeing it and those reasons can be numerous.

I totally agree.Just because your preferences are different on who your attracted to,doesn’t mean you can take it out on someone who doesn’t meet your own standards in a potential partner. It was so cruel the way he did it,totally disrespectful…it’s not cool to do smth like that,he probably thought he owned that.But please,be for real.Who actually finds that attractive?I can’t understand how some ppl have this hate for something not even do to w them,it’s not up to them and it shouldn’t affect them.They’re people too;no matter their sexual orientation,if their trans,their race or ethnicity.this world rlly needs to learn some respect,and until that man sets his priorities straight he ain’t getting no one.For the two girls who stood there,hoping to be possibly picked,and weren’t…they’d just find out what an ahole he is anyways,even having witnessed it w their own two eyes.I won’t be a bystander or stay silent when it comes to defending someone purely innocent,we all need to learn how to tbh,it’s too easy to not say owt.Srry for the ramble ILYSM girly pop u have a new sub

To be fair, with 'entertainment' you never know what is scripted and what is made up and for what reason. "Normal" sadly doesn't get 'hits' for entertainment. They likely were told to be 'wacky' or 'off the wall' in order to get results. The sad problem is that in 'entertainment' its very hard to actually do 'entertainment' with 'people being nice to one another and having a lovely time'. I live in a small rural village and we have trans people working in several very public businesses and nobody even makes an issue over it.

tbh my husband is a sweetheart and would have been like the girls who didnt pop the balloon. not because he approves, but maybe out of a sense of “ok i dont want to add to any drama”. he is very progressive but is more like? introverted? internal about it unless he’s comfortable with you. if ur his family he’ll fight against bigotry but if ur his coworker he’ll awkwardly smile and back away and then complain about it later to me. i mean, he would probably not be on a show like this anyways bc hes a softie but i dont think those girls were pick me’s. it seemed like they felt confused and awkward and shit and maybe they wanted to but it was to late? u know? maybe im projecting haha but i wanna hear their side before i think of them as lost causes.
@ToriALaMode28 күн бұрын
I mean they wanted to be picked by a man that disrespected a woman. It's already "well I'm not like *her*, so idc I'll get picked if I stay in". If you look at women as competition in a situation where people are being bullied or disrespected, you're a pick me.

I’m a really big Ally when it comes to this stuff. I know trans people and some of my friends who are in fact in the LGBTQ+ community and to see this happen actually annoys me so much. I understand not wanting to be with someone cause you just don’t find them attractive but the way he was so aggressive about getting her out was just so wrong, all of them deserve an even chance on the playing field and clearly the guy didn’t understand any of that or even try to. My heart goes out to the girl who’s balloon got popped, you really don’t deserve that at all and you should feel comfortable and attractive how you are without a dumbass man telling you so.

Can someone explain to me what is happening here? Like seriously, how does Sam's hair fall so straight and then curl so elegantly past her shoulders? Please, I have long hair and no one taught me how to do stuff unto it so my shit looks like a bog witch's rug.
@sandwichqueen28 күн бұрын
I don't know if her hair is originally straight, curly, or wavy, but you could use a hair iron if you have curly or wavy to straighten it, or a curler to curle it if straight. Some hair actually naturally does that, like mine. Just remember not to heat your hair too long as it could damage it.
@soulangela715427 күн бұрын
I saw sandwichqueen's answer but just wanted to offer some additional ways to make your hair curl! I have light curly/wavy hair so after making it wet, brushing it out and then crunching my hair with some product will usually make it stay pretty well. I use Yves Rocher Botanical Balm leavi-in repair care which is around 15-16 euros. I don't use a lot of it so one tube has lasted me a whole year already. On days that my hair is very straight and I want it to curl more I will make it wet and then put curlers in! I usually just let my hair airdry. The hair on the top of my head usually just stays straight. I hope this helps!
