Haha! It’s not just you Stephen :) I’m lucky enough to have other people who care how the map looks too :) Yeah I managed to find a mod that removes the industries mate. With it being a passenger only series I didn’t want to have them just sat there not being used :) I’ll make sure to check the email box if I can find where I wrote it down haha! (I haven’t really had any use for it until now! :) ) Thanks for your support as always mate :)

You should put stops at the end of the road before the intersection, not right after it. With more/longer vehicles they could be blocking the intersections.

Great idea mate! I didn’t even think of that. My thought was by having them after it would stop the traffic building up before the junction and allow other traffic to flow through that wasn’t turning :) Thanks for the advice :)

@@GroundedGamer855 But if there's just one car that wants to turn, it can't until the bus leaves the stop, so it blocks the entire road behind it. Basically every bus stop you added this episode is wrong 😅

The curved station mod you have allows you to place a bridge over the station. The bridge allow pedestrian access to a centre platform, allowing you to build a "local" station for stopping trains and use passing tracks for non-stopping express services (rather than have to use four platforms). The bridge also allows you to have a road over the station or to sink the station to create a low-level station. All interesting options. Caution though. You cannot place a bus stop on the bridge and the bridge cannot be upgraded for trams. Looking good so far.

Ahhh! I had seen the ability to add a bridge to curved stations and was planning to use it later on, I’m glad you’ve said about the bus stops though mate! That might make me re-think it. I was hoping people could get dropped off there, maybe it would still be a cool feature with a second (side) street connection with a bus stop :)

@@GroundedGamer855 You can place a stop to one side of the bridge and they will walk to the station, just need to make sure there is space for one (ie not on a bend). No trams is a bit of a nuisance when you build a station in an area serviced by trams before you realise the issue 🤣

Transport Fever 2 is to me one of my absolute favourite games, I've spent nearly 2,000 hours playing it. 😂 The GWR station pack is my go-to pack for stations, depending on the era it's built it changes liveries and is far better looking for pre-1980s era stations. It's versatile as you can create bay platforms, shorter/ longer terminating platforms and looks the real deal with steam/ early traction. With some GWR lower quadrant signals, gantries and a signal box would look great for your 1917+ time period. Cheers!

It's great to use. The game's very addictive! For larger stations, it's cool to try different ideas. Say having two maybe, three through platforms, and say a terminating platform either end with platform in the middle, if you had trains terminating either side. You can more or less (apart from curvature) replicate platforms and place nice shelters on. You can tell I enjoy that bit. 😂👍🏻

Or build a station just using one piece of track. Then with the station configurator, add three more adjacent lines. With the last, place a platform and building. This will make a station with two through (fast) lines through the middle and station platforms either side. I'll take a picture of what I mean someday.

Why don't you let the game running when building something new on the other side of the map? Then you get in some money while you are building. And you need to fix the cantenary the wire is just floating in the air with no post. Keep up the good work :)

Hi Jarle, thanks for the comment mate :) I think the missing catenary posts is because of the track laying mod I’m using. I’ll look into that when I get back home :) Good idea with letting the game run on, I’ll try to make sure I do. I think it just forget to start it again sometimes once I’ve got a thought in my head of what to build next :)

If you add a bridge at Rochdale does that expand the town across the river?

Good question mate! I have had that happen in other play throughs so I’d say yes it would do! I’m keen to keep the 2 sides of the river pretty seperated other than my transport crossings though. My idea is to have 2 mainlines (One each side of the river) and then connections access the river at the ends. Meaning people will use the mainlines and the crossings :) hopefully bringing us lots of profit! :)

The blue one should be called Edward instead of Thomas because Thomas is a 060 tank engine and edward is a 440 k2 class which looks more like the blue one you have rn.

Thanks for that info mate :) I wasn’t aware of the types when naming them so only went for the colours. I think it will be too difficult to match all of the names with the correct loco type. For this one though I’m sure we can make a change as Thomas is due an upgrade I believe anyway :)
