13:06 NCERT'S STATEMENT Diffusion is obvious in gases and liquids, but diffusion IN SOLIDS rather than OF SOLIDS is more likely. But, you said its reverse. It's explained like We haven't seen the diffusion of chalk but diffusion of colour in chalk is obvious.

Mam you said diffusion is passive process and temperature would affect it but passive process is not sensitive to temperature

Maam i have a question . Firstly when you were talking about the difference between passive and active transport . You said that passive transport is not sensitive to temp but when you talked about diffusion ( which is passive) you said that temp increases diffusion

Yes..and also...in ncert its clearly metioned that both of the processes are sensitive to inhibitors which react to the protein side chains

Mam as in facilitated diffusion proteins are involved so they should also be affected by inhibitors and temperature

Ma'am You have told that temp. is ineffective in passive transport. But in diffusion which is Passive transport temp. effect is there.

Facilitated diffusion cannot cause net transport of molecules from a low to a high concentrations as it requires input of energy. What is it's meaning?

diffusion depends on temperature which is a passive process but in this lecture it was told it isnot sesitive to passive proces plz clarify..as soon as possible
