Correct your information regarding first electric train in india.. 1.first electric train date 3rd february 1925 2.The introduction of ‘’Deccan Queen’’ between the two premier cities of Maharashtra on 1st June 1930 was a major landmark in the history of the Great Indian Peninsula Railway, the forerunner of the Central Railway. This was the first deluxe train introduced on the railway to serve 2 important cities of the region and was aptly named after Pune, which is also known as ‘’Queen of Deccan’’ (‘’Dakkhan ki Rani’’). "Everyone loves the Deccan Queen. Introduction of LHB coaches is good move for the passengers point of view,” said Harsha Shah, (72) Chairperson of Railway pravashi group , Pund, who has been travelling on the train since she was five years old. " In my 67 travel experience I noticed that most of frquent passeeners of deccan queen behave like a family and ready to help if needed" she added.
