I sure like the "SCRUNCH-SCRUNCH"sound that thing makes when it moves a LOT more than the infernal "BEEPING" that pretty much all heavy equipment makes here in the USA. Makes MUCH more sense to have a sound that can pretty much only be heard as far as the machine could possibly move ins say, 3 minutes, rather than that danged BEEPING that can be heard for miles farther than the machine could possibly move in 10 or 15 minutes and drives everyone crazy. Not to mention that the workers right there at the work site get very quickly immune to the racket and don't even hear the very sound that is MANDATED and is SUPPOSED TO keep them safe!!!

Looks like they are on private rodes so I imagine anything goes to get the move done. I've seen these moved properly in my town before on public roads. They disassemble the excavator in 3 to 4 pieces the boom arm on a truck, the 2 tracks on a truck and the body on another truck.

I’m about a 1000% sure that trailer is rated for about 90 tons. I’m pretty careless with my loads and hauling. I get away with a lot that is questionable... but that was too far over loaded. Not so much that it’s dangerous. It’s always dangerous moving that kind of weight. It’s so much more so when you overload by 130% capacity. Impressive, but not wise

To everyone getting triggered about this being overloaded just some of my thoughts: Judging from the letters on the side of the excavator this took place in Greece. Now there is no way anyone would transport such a big machine sideways on a trailer unsecured over public roads. Also note that some of the roads are not paved (relatively unusual for public roads in Europe), the berms underneath bridges are just raw gravel instead of stabilizing it with a wall and stuff like this. Therefore I guess that this transport took place on the private premises of a mining company, the cars you see is just their staff traveling to their workplaces. In that case all the rules about loading trailers, securing loads and maximum load capacities don't apply. Still this transport destroyed the trailer, but if they used one that was shot in the first place, no longer road worthy but they can get 3 or 4 machines relocated on their own ground before it gives then who cares. No need to overthink the situation. It's pretty simple; these coal mine is a big deal in those regions they are located. Without those mines the regions are dead more or less. Moving heavy machinery around fairly quick and simple in the area is a important part in keeping operations going., day out, day in. The trailer is designed to take loads way beyond what 99% of the viewers have no clue is possible. Don't worry about it.

Timms MC You are right, it's 8 tires per axle at the back. Not sure 1 more axel at the front and 2 more at the back would ruin turning much at the speed they are going though. You see a lot of lowboy operating with this number of axles.

Peizxcv I totally agree. I’m no heavy equipment expert, but I never have seen this. This is a way too big excavator for this small truck. Did you check out the tires? I’m surprised they didn’t explode. Not to mention the danger of what they are doing. This must be Russia or some other country. Here in the states there is no cutting corners. You need a “ wide load” truck equipped for that monster. I forgot to mention the truck passing by while they were loading that beast. So extremely dangerous.

Impressive!! To the crowd shouting overload, and compares it with US D.O.T. regulations; This is almost for sure inside a closedoff area. Probably a quarry or simular. The trailer has 8 wheels pr axle spreading the load across the road. No need to spread it out lenghtwise over 4-8 axels, and increasing the lenght unnessecerely. It's probably rated for this weight. The sway is because it's top heavy, and loaded sideways. The trailer is bending because its flexible, and buildt to do so. If this had been stiff and rigid, the frame would have snapped. The 4-axle MAN-truck is probably rated for up to 150 metric tonn. With 2 drive-axels with reducing, maybe HydroDrive on the front and a 4'th support axle I believe this is whitin the specifications.

the trailer isn't built to flex like that. quite simply it's far overloaded especially for the stressful way it's loaded. the flexing stress can be minimised by using the excavator to build a big ramp to drive up on so the trailer isn't pushed down into the road- the excavator then just moving off the ramp horizontally onto the trailer. 7:36 - 7:48 were good locations to reload. however, it will succeed in getting the machine to the next site as long as they stay off public roads where there are coppers, and to any future site after that until the trailer fractures and can't cop any more abuse. and it will fracture. for the record, i've operated excavators for a lot of people and some of these people would do this sort of stuff if they could get away with it. a fun video to watch.
