Hello! I Just wanted to inform you that Varispeed got a new compatibility version for Live 10. For Live 10 there's a separate Device pair ( Varispeed for live 10, and Varishift) Due to Live 10's API Limitations the original Varispeed don't works properly in Arrangement view. You can use the normal Varispeed if you only want to use it in Session view, or only with midi tracks. If you use the Live 10 compatible version you need to put Varishift in every audio track's first FX slot, like the midi tracks with the Pitch device. This is sadly not as elegant as the default Live 11 version, but for now thats the only possible workaround.

ABleton has this u just freeze everything, this doesnt really help what we need is a select all midi and then be able to type in a key and it moves all notes into that key

Hey, This video is pretty outdated... check out Varispeed 3.0 : kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWiXZHehrsyCeck It's already capable of transposing all midi clips in your project without any companion devices, plus it can transpose individual drum rack cells, or Simpler devices in slicing mode, and some other cool things : )

hello will it transpose all midi notes ? if you're drum parts are still midi, how can you avoid transposing them as well as the midi instrument ones ? thx !

I love this! Does this work on seperate tracks as well or are you forced to pitch the whole project? and also does this work with clips not in arrangement view?

Hey! Varispeed changes the pitch in a per track/clip basis. If it finds an audio track It'll gonna change the pitch of every audio clip, and if it finds a MIDI track it'll look for a 'Pitch' device in the first fx slot and it'll change its course (so you need to put a pitch device in every midi track, but that way you can exclude your drumracks... if you want to exclude your audio tracks you just put a symbol in it's name. The default is @ but you can change it to any symbol or word) And yes it's works in both session and Arrangement mode. But it's only fully functional in live 11. In Live 10 it's only works properly in session view. The arrangement mode is a little buggy. I'll uplode tomorrow a workaround device pair for Live 10 support but it"s not gonna be as elegant as with live 11)
