Thank you for the video to explain how transverse myelitis. Unfortunately I also am one of the unlucky ones that exactly 1 week after taking my second Pfizer shot I was paralysed my whole body except my arms. I was diagnose with transverse myelitis. This happened in October 2021. 6 months on and I am still slowly recovering. I can walk but still lost of sensation from mid chest down as from memory it was from t6 or t5 down. My hands are affected and i can only do a few basic things but it has been very challenging. I feel for everyone that has been diagnose with this as it is not easy and the not knowing if you will be back to your old healthy active self is very difficult.

As I already had Transverse Myelitis in 2010 I will after watching your video not be having anymore vaccinations for covid 19. I already had 2 doses of Astra Zeneca. But no more I do not want to risk in any way getting Myelitis again. It is not a good experience. The thought of never walking again is real. The steroids worked for me and I recovered completely.

I developed this after AZ vax. I went to 6 specialists and had tests and treatments and nobody could give me a diagnosis. I ended up on Pregabalin. It was a terrible drug for me mentally but I had to have it for the pain. I ended up with a walking stick. It took 2 years to recover.

I'm based in Valencia and I had the Astrazeneca vaccine. I am a healthy 35year old women, but two days after the vaccine my legs were paralysed. I have been in the hospital 3 weeks, and they are still trying to find out whats wrong with me, its something like Myelitis, but they can't find where the blockage is which sends the signal from the brain to my legs

I am in uk and had the AstraZeneca vaccine 28 march - symptoms escalated quickly over a few hours and I was taken to hospital in an ambulance where I spent 8 days unable to move. I’m on codeine and pregabalin anti-epilepsy medicine. I’ve never had epilepsy! 21 days of intensive rehab later and beginning to get some mobility back. I can walk without a frame and use crutches for short distances. I was fine before the vaccine. Doctors have not been able to identify any underlying cause other than a severe adverse reaction to the vaccine. Most people will experience mild side effects but it is a gamble! I won’t be taking the 2nd dose!

Few years after being diagnosed with RA one Dr I saw at our local community clinic asked me how did you get RA ?? I was like I dunno , he said well you don't just get RA it's caused by injury , sickness etc. I left that day trying to figure it out. It wasn't until I saw a recent old video footage of a Dr speaking to Congress on the long-term affects caused by flu , pneumonia , h1N1 etc that I finally figured it out. The year my RA started was same year I decided to get both flu shot and pneumonia shot so either one or both together I know without a doubt now is what caused my RA. Right before pandemic started my RA was in remission and I had 2 spinal surgeries and had to be off all RA meds for 6 months before the first surgery and so long after. I was afraid it would hurt my remission. Fast forward to after 2nd surgery and beginning of pandemic it was advised to get flu shot early due to covid and winter so I got it and afterwards my back surgery recovery went from going good to downhill to the point I was better off before both surgeries!! Wishing I had not had them to begin with even though it was necessary after a fall down the stairs but now thinking it was the flu shot that was the demise of my spinal conditions and not the surgeries! I have vaccine reactions so I rarely get flu shot and even had an allergic reaction one year but Dr told me it changes every year so odds of another reaction was slim however I still didn't get them yearly like they recommend and I won't be again. I had vaccine reactions as a child to the point they were stopped completely! So it was many years after flu shot came out before I was convinced to get one for work. Just read an article on prepare for change website about the many adverse reactions and compensation for those injuries which lead me to here to watch this video.

What doctor told you you have to have an injury to have RA. Soooo not true at all. . You need a rheumatologist. I know ppl that were born with RA . Or maybe they meant to say Underlying Disease, not injury lol that doesn’t even make sense babe. Google the info for yourself. I have RA and I’ve never been injured. I’m only 29

My wife has pains in her back , legs and is having difficulty walking; and has to use a walking stick to get up any stairs; she became like this a couple of weeks after the second Astra Zeneca vaccination. ( she had some pain after the first shot) had to wait for seven months for the mri scan. Has been in severe pain for seven months, now waiting for test results.
