I really enjoyed this as a parent because it really made me think how on earth would I talk my kid into leaving a concert they are dying to be at without them realizing something is wrong. Like when he awkwardly asks his daughter about going down into the hole the singer rose out of.

Loved this movie! I was kinda hoping that Cooper being the butcher was a misdirect and the mom was the killer the whole time! But sadly it was pretty straight forward, solid 7/10 film nonetheless

TRAP was an awful movie. It was very vanilla as far a thrillers go. I would have never guessed this was an M Night film if I went in blind. It was more of a "made for TV" or direct to AMAZON/NETFLIX. Why do I watch M Night films...for the twist...(spoiler alert) there is no twist. 1 out of 5.

Cool review, Subbed... I heard a lot of bad things from people so I like your angle it's the best A level B tier movie.. that makes perfect sense in what to expect and having a good time is all that really matters when your watching a flick.

I highly reccommed watching Unbreakable, Split, and Glass (in that order). They all tie into each other and are all great films by M. Night! They do not disappoint!

I have actually seen Glass (oversight not to mention it) but it wasn’t for me because I hadn’t seen the other 2. So I’ll have to revisit them in order!

Oh really? I found the movie dreadful. The writing is so ridiculous that it had me scratch my head every three minutes. M Night is out. He's been out for years now.

That's fair - his writing style is definitely unique. I think it fits the premise of this movie really well though. Nobody else is making movies like him that's for sure.

The butcher getting away so many times in a row when he was cornered was dumb. Like, literally, no one saw him get out of the car? The police couldn't ask if the crowd saw him get out of the car? Admitting his identity to Raven was also dumb. He literally had no leverage over her. That man he captured was no one to Raven. Also, she could've called for help or outed him when they were walking to the limosine when armed policemen were literally surrounding them and he wasn't holding his phone. Also, the SWAT literally had his house surrounded, but he managed to escape and take Raven with him anyway. Another dumb thing is the wife. She suspected that her husband might be the butcher. So, instead of calling the police and saying so. She put an entire stadium of people at risk. The movie tried to portray her as smart cuz she spiked the cake in advance, as if knowing her husband would be back. But she didn't have the brains to just call the police?
