He was just tryna make a friend cuz he was alone for so long and was clearly getting attached to her and if her brother was that important she should've just left early in the morning without stealing anything and at least left a note. Hell, she could've brought him along for the trip to find her brother to be honest. He was just a kind soul who didn't deserve what he got and it just makes me sad to see kind hearted people in movies and TV just get killed over a misunderstanding.

He didn’t ask her to break in to HIS home. He didn’t ask her to barge in, go through his stuff…. She lied by promising that she wouldn’t leave; He ate one can a food a day because he didn’t know how long he’d be there: he was willing to share it all with her, and she killed him. Smh. Now, he shouldn’t have hit her over the head with a shovel, but he was so afraid of being alone again, he was desperate. This movie was so sad, and it shows just how selfish others can be. Like someone owes you, when you constantly ask for things every day with giving nothing in return, but betrayal. I really enjoyed this movie.
