Yes, I agree we shouldn't continue or compromise in a toxic relationship if it is taking a toll on our mental health. Good video to recognise such relationships!

It's hurting a lot. I loved him truly, so I'm not able to accept that he is toxic even though I'm a psychology student I don't know how to handle it

Its also very important to communicate with your partner and sort things out like an adult. nowadays, Most relationships end not because of toxicity but due to one side keeping everything within themselves and not expressing themselves enough or communicating with the other side. Expecting the other side to understand you without you doing anything to make them understand, is toxicity too. Belittling is bad but not every little banter is belittling. Its all about adjustments. Sacrifices are necessary for a relationship. Its real life not a fairy tale. Inshort, Love is not about two perfect pieces that fit together. Rather, love is about two different pieces making adjustments in their shape so that they can fit together So, rather than getting advice from others, communicate with your partner and sort things out. Watching KZbin videos and overthinking will only make the situation worse.

Agree with you, but it's not about ripping off from the relationship totally ... when nothing works out , what's the next step? You can not be explaining yourself lifelong.. when it's affecting your mental health, you need to take steps, and this video is all about how to deal with it..

Don't cling on to something that sucks your blood.
