No one inland SHOULD expect a hurricane to come that far inland. That storm was originally coming for my town & we all thought it would just be a couple inches of rain & some wind gusts. We all had our generators & extra gas, first aid, food & water. No one expects your house to wash away hundreds of miles inland. Prayers.

I’m very happy for the home survivor. Her 2 dogs helped her emotions. Like she said she wouldn’t wish the home entrapment of bad floods on all the people she hates.

I used to live in Newport for years and I love the people of Cosby. They all have the same great sense of humor as this woman. I can’t believe those same people are still out there boiling peanuts it’s been decades. I am glad to see it, though!
