Yeah good vid, but my concern is the amount of junk getting left on Cramond island by overnighters and campers and the numerous fire-pits that are never removed properly and area restored when leaving camp. Island is slowly being wrecked.

There are always going to be idiots who leave trash , hack down live trees , build a firepit a metre or 2 from an existing one . You see it all over Scotland . I can assure you me and the group took every bit of trash and more back out with us .Thanks for watching 👍🏻🏕

Great video there Ally. I used to live not far from there and still visit Cramond a fair bit. I do keep meaning to camp on the island but would need to do it out of season. The last thing I want is to share it with a punk festival - or whoever was snoring like that!

Yeah out of season is best , not many want to be stuck there in cold wet weather , ive heard it can be quite messy in summer with day trippers , lots of litter and bunkers smelling of pee , but out of season its clean and peaceful ! 👍🏻🏕

Looked good, not been on that island since childhood but remember your last video. Will check out the girls channel too. I don't know what happened to my channel, think I clicked a dodgy link and it got suspended or deleted and I spent hours trying to sort it but I gave up hence joining Instagram 😅. I wouldn't worry about a single skin tent. I've had many and any tent will get condensation at this time of year, just keep a cloth handy. I use the ones called "spunj" to wipe excess rain off my tent if I can just until I get home to dry it, but good for the inside as they really soak up alot more moisture than a microfibre cloth and are cheap too 🏕👍
