seeing those green field trip notices gave me a nostalgia rush.

Everytime I see a game that has a random but somehow appealing IP I always think, "I bet that's from Prospero Hall." And yup, it's always Prospero Hall.

I was about to say that the only thing that would make this better is if one of the set symbols was that “S” thing we used to draw back in the day. And lo and behold, it’s there!

Mead binders and their inner folders with Varrying over the top art work. that was the rage in my school days.

I grew up too poor to be able to afford a Trapper Keeper when I was a kid bit the desire never left. I swear I can remember the smell of the plastic from longingly looking at them at the store every year.

i definitely remember those stylized "S" symbols! But now I'm wondering what the reference is/what the origin of that S symbol is. Until now, I had assumed that the S symbol was from my school's (Stonegate Elementary) iconography.

You can find an even more in-depth look in LEMMiNO's "The Universal S" video. It goes deeper than the Vice article.

It's as replayable as any other open draft game...

Wait, so this doesn't feel like you're doing homework and getting detentions? Thematically bankrupt.
