Hey Michelle! I am loving your creations more & more all the time! So, I don’t have a disc punch, so I just did a simple test run & it WILL work with regular ole’ binder rings! I used my crop a file (but a normal single hole punch will work, too! ) - I cut out a 6x12 paper, scored it @ 5,6 & 7 on the 12” side, just like you did! To line up the holes, I marked it @ 1” & 5” on the 6” side. THEN, before I actually do the hole punches, I folded the entire thing flat using that 6” score line & made sure that my little pencil mark guidelines were in the middle by making sure the dot was lined up with the 1/2” mark on my score board! (So, the dots I drew were @1”&5” on the 6” side and at the 1/2” mark when it is folded on the 6” score that we made - man I hope that makes sense!! Haha, but I thought I would try to explain it (it’s tough to explain when only typing & not having visual aides!! Lol) so that others who read the comments might see it! :) or if you do make another video for

So cute! I never heard of "trapper keeper", I'm getting old. This is such a cute album, loving the layout and all the pockets. The paper makes it over the top. I wouldn't make it using the rings although they do make the album. I just mailed a small journal that I made for a birthday. It was a little bulky but still fit inside an envelope...cost $4.50 to mail, that was the cheapest way to send. An album like this would need a special packaging to just get it in the mail. This is very fun and you nailed it! I remember those binders, good job! You can get the same ring punch look by using a hole punch and cutting two slits up to the hole, the rings fit perfectly. We use to do that for happy planners before the long ring punches came out. I might try a heavier two sided card stock for the cover to make it more sturdy, might be interesting to see how that works. Awesome project! 😊🌸😊

I've recently gotten into The Happy Planner and I am OBSESSED with the whole disc bound system, and I wanted to incorporate some in my albums. I particularly wanted to create something for a friend and this is perfect. You mentioned wanting more idea on how to film, I had trouble with this as well because I don't have a desk & I film off my bed. I got heavy weight foam boards from Hobby Lobby for about $5 and covered them in contact paper ( they have a bunch for like $3-$6) on amazon, and a roll will last you a long time. So that is my desk, & I use a Goose Neck tripod thingy that films over my work space. They have this one goose neck with a light, I believe it's by Canvas and it fits your phone & goes over your work space. I just have the normal one that I attach to a ledge & works perfectly. Hope this helps!

Yes, I did watch the Superb owl and what a great game! Was honestly pulling for the Bengals but was pleased with our Georgia QB Matthew Stafford making the win...how great was that?! Binder rings with a regular hole puch would definitely work, but you can make holes with a regular hole punch and then clip a little strip from the edge of the page to the hole. Lots of how- to's on web. You can also buy generic disc sets on Amazon in lots of colors and sizes.

What I do with my rings (as I don't have a punch) by punch a hold and then snipping out a small section on the centre. They will still clip in without issue. All it does is instead of the mushroom shape it is a hole. I did something similar for a memdex holder. This is a beautiful project TFS!!!
