Like many a killing trap is an issue in the areas I run but a dog proof has its place. That being said I do like to run 220’s where I can. Another go to is a 1.5 cool or #11 DLS blind trail set. Either way when it comes to land trapping I enjoy catching raccoon the most, it makes a fun day. Great show, I’m always impressed by the way you enjoy your life.

Thank you for the kind words. If you are trapping how can it be a bad day?

I 💯 %agree on the dog proof traps, ive trapped for 40 years and in my mind those dp traps are a little on the cruel side to me,ive got a few dozen of them but nolonger use them after i got two coyote toungs that were ripped out of there mouths. Great video guy's excellent looking raccoons.

Dog proofs work very well in populated areas. Killing traps and landowners pets would be a bad mix. Every trap has its place. DPs are a great way to get a kid trapping also.
