Cool video. You've done this before. I've watched dozens of videos on falconry, Bare Hands Barret goes deep into the whole topic. He treats all captured birds for parasites. I have ALWAYS wanted to get into this but life keeps going sideways on me. I'll be watching your other videos on this. Congratulations on a successful capture.

What a beautiful bird! Can't wait to see how she does in training, she's bigger than the one captive bred redtail I've worked with already. I've been really interested in Kazakh eagle falconry, apparently when they trap passage eagles they look for battle wounds to show that an eagle has already hunted and killed fox, their intended quarry. Super cool!
@FinsandTalons5 ай бұрын
I didn't think she was that big when I got to her at the trap, but now that I've got her on the glove, she's pretty thick. Yes fox hunting with eagles would be sick!

I’d like to have a pattern for those anklets, or a place to order? Taking my falconry exam next month pretty much got all furniture made but a place to attach a bell on the anklet just makes sense. If not I,ll try my luck at making a set. How many can I mess up?30?40? thanks I’m learning. An old retired guy but excited about the future with these birds.

@@Gregory-en5kq They are a blast to hunt with! Baba Yaga on Facebook is his name if you want to reach out to him. I would recommend cheap anklets and hood first since the Red-Tails like to scratch the hood and bite the anklets for the first month or two.
