I don't know who owns that property, but it seems they've allowed it to become an eyesore. No one follows up on it to get it cleaned up or start charging huge fines. These men work very hard to make the area look presentable. They should be reimbursed for their expense. It takes time and money to do the work they do. God bless them.

I wish your city council would have your name in the office's of each county . You should also get a city permit for free maintance tools when you need them. And free passes for trash disposal. Members of the city and/or government should see these videos. So they can see all the trash & how hard it is to remove. What kind of impression does this make for visitors and/or tourists???😢

I don't think tourists would be shown these areas as it would put them off from visiting! It's the same in all countries - not just poor ones like this - they only show the tourists the nice parts and keep them well away from the run-down areas. My sister was on a cruise round the islands of the Caribbean last year. She'd saved hard for years to pay for this cruise, the holiday of a lifetime. A private yacht sank which had 39 illegal migrants aboard and many were drowning as they couldn't swim. My sister's cruise ship was diverted as they were the nearest ship and 3 days of my sister's holiday were lost due to the search and rescue mission. If I remember correctly, half of the illegal migrants died while the rest were rescued. Only one newspaper covered the story - the Washington Post Online. I reckon the "powers that be" keep these stories out of the news so as not to damage the tourist business. My sister didn't get any compensation for missing out on visiting Antigua and a couple of other islands. Neither did anyone else on the cruise. She was traumatised and couldn't sleep for months as the images of all the dead bodies pulled from the Caribbean, laying on the decks, were still fresh in her mind! Thankfully there are many channels here on YT that expose all that the media are trying to suppress. Everything is manipulated. Everything is propaganda.
