Juice talks in so many songs how he never wanted that life, it just kind of happened and topped with the anxiety he had, it got worse and he couldn’t get out. When he says the stuff about the pills and codeine that you don’t like, it’s not to make that life sound better, it’s actually the opposite. This song was about how he got in too deep, but it can be hard to tell from it if he was praising the life or not. If you listen to all of his music, though, you realize that it’s really just a nuanced way of saying how much he regrets getting into it and hates how it affects him. It’s a very somber tone over all about it. R.I.P. Juice🙏

cy Thanks man! I just wanted to let anyone who may think the same about the drug use as Layed Bak know what was really happening in Juice’s music, so he doesn’t get talked down/remembered poorly. Being a person who has dealt with anxiety for years, I completely understand how and why Juice got down that path even though it hasn’t happened to me. I just don’t want anyone judged for the crap they have to go through in this world. I know this can be cliche to many out there but as I’ve heard from Juice in his music, God helped him, and he certainly has helped me. I encourage anyone dealing with anything to seek God if they haven’t/aren’t already. I encourage any believers, for faith strength, and skeptics of Christ to read “Letters From a Skeptic”. It’s a great book that really answers common and important questions very well. This goes for believers and skeptics alike: I encourage you to talk to Jesus, he will greatly and vastly improve your lives!! Back to Juice, I do not want him to be judged for something awful he dealt with

He didn’t write this. It was one of the hundreds of freestyle songs that the producer just picked and mastered. He would go into studios listen to a beat 1 time and then freestyle a whole song over it multiple different times, and then tell the producer to pick one out of the different freestyle and make it into a song. Many Juice WRLD hits were simply freestyles. That was his true talent.

Here’s my take on the video: The scene in the plane and footage of him represents juice’s last moments. Juice died on the plane and the footage of him represents the saying “your life will flash before your eyes when you die” the clips of him are moments of his life leading up to his death. The animation represents Juice fighting his demons who eventually overwhelm and kill him. The scene of him floating in space is the moment he died but he uses the last of his energy (life) to overcome the demons. He then looks over the earth one last time saying goodbye to everything before he ventures into the afterlife. He also wrote this song incase he died early, but sadly that came true.

He is not advocating pills, the animation literally shows him fighting his demons while the lyrics correlate with the image. Juice was struggling, he made his music like that to express what he was feeling and he was so popular because people related. Most of the songs ive seen you diss because they talk about usage is because you dont see the message they are trying to portray. Juice was crying out for help and sadly he was lost, in his head and in society. Juice Wrld was lyrical and I think alot of people dont pay attention to that. Anyways, love the videos man. No one cared to help this man. Is very sad that this man was crying for help in his songs and no one realized the severity until he died, but yet he said he knew when was the day of his death, how alarming is that?! Yet no one cared enough to help. This is very sad. May he rest in peace

Bro he died from a medical episode from taking codeine and oxys and had mental health issues, this is a clear sign that he had very bad internal demons he was battling and unfortunately lost that battle. You need to see the bigger picture of the lyrics. It literally KILLED him. How could you not see/hear that??? He's not promoting the use to others he's telling a story of his own battle. Understanding that meaning you gain a greater appreciation of how sad and powerful those lyrics are, they're not glamourising usage they're telling a story of what he was fighting.

Juice is my favorite artist, i'm really happy you like the song and his flow. His emotion he shows in his songs is so unique and can't be matched. You have most likely read the other comments regarding his lyrics, most of his songs he talks about the good and bad bad days. He talks real and spreading awareness like that is one in a million. I respect you heaps because you know what is good man :)

Pay attention to the animation in the end. He was fighting his many small demons until they eventually became one giant monster to symbolize is drug problems. He left the world in his fight (dying trying to stop) but he left a bright and shining star.

As a huge Juice WRLD fan, his music was more than drugs. It was his struggle with his past and heartbreak he’s dealt with in the past. He was hurt, and he found happiness with drugs. Notice how every lyric he has regarding drugs follows a verse about pain. This video describes him beautifully. He loved his music, loved his fans, but it wasn’t enough, as we see with other artists like Mac. He touched a lot of people in his time here, including me. May he Rest In Peace no longer being chased by his demons. 999

He didnt use drugs cause he was a "kid" he used them to escape and take away the pain he was suffering, as a 21 year old male who abused drugs and alcohol and attempted suicide because of the same reasons i speak for a lot of people with metal issues that its hard to speak out and he was so brave to put it into his songs how he struggled its just so sad that he never got the chance to get help before he died. #ripjuicewrld
