Always appreciate and enjoy your videos. Thanks! I want to suggest wearing a mask when you’re working/digging in a dusty area like attics, basements, etc. And yes, I’m an old person! I remember being young like yourself and not fully realizing how things we do when we are young can effect us when we’re older. In those environments, especially in houses of that era, asbestos was frequently used and can be floating in the air even if it’s not visible. Asbestos is not something anyone wants to inhale, trust me. And gloves - yes - rodent urine and droppings are something you also don’t want to come in direct skin contact with. I offer these as caring thoughts, not as judgements way. Stay safe and keep your great videos coming!

It's sad when mice gets to things as most times you need to throw things away due to the urine, poop, and all of the nesting mess they make. I find myself having issues with dust, etc as I've gotten older. I'm 50 now. My mom passed away in March. She had so much stuff. I took a box full of ribbons/bows, etc. Lots are still brand new. My throat gets irritated, skin bugs me, eyes bug me. Something about the upstairs. And yes, I use to live and sleep there. I don't know if it's because they don't use the upstairs and keep the door closed to go up there or what. It's an old house. I hope the guy that brought all the stuff to the flea market washed everything that had mice poop, etc on it. And oh my goodness....that orange counter top! LOL

The pink Witch is cute. The poodle hanky would make a really cute framed picture or an adorable pillow front. Wow on the kitchen counters. I have seen counters like that but not in a very long time. Mice are very pervasive little creatures. Our house has a large field right behind it so we have always had to battle mice. Thankfully we have always kept them under control. Of course it doesn’t help because we have 5 birds. They throw seed everywhere. Lol. We will see a mouse every once in a while. Usually spring and fall. I can’t stand the little creatures. They are cute but destructive and carry disease. Stay safe and God Bless

Mice get in wherever there's a big enough hole, and if a house is empty the mice move in. That attic looked like a treasure trove if not for the mice. Just throw me the sewing stuff and no one gets hurt! (go through it just in case there are uncut 1930s feed sacks and flour sacks in there. They sell for buck$. ) 08:12 Kliban's cat; they were a big deal in the 70s/80s. 09:00 take all the jewelry out of there and worry about it later. Some of it's bound to be "good" even if it's not precious metal. I've gone through jewelry piles for people for free before, just for the fun of it.

Its incredible how much clutter builds up in the attic over a few decades, and its only when you sale the house do you tackle the massive pile of dusty junk up there. Sadly with stuff thats been infested with mice, the bin is the only suitable place. Finding gold was good! It must be sad to clear clutter from someone else's attic, the "I will put it up in the attic, it might be used one day". 20 years later its still up there, unused and ruined by mice. Keep up the good work by helping in these situations.

With that "pom-pom", you look like you are ready to....dust the funiture! Ah, good old leaves...have my share of those! It really is amazing the stuff people hoard! The stuffed animals looked quite mangy. Mice, sure can chew up items...I have seen record album covers, books and other paper items half eaten! Years ago, I had several of those old wooden hangers...from various hotels here...I dumped them when I upgraded hangers...kind of regret it now, as they represented a bit of S.F. history. Cleanouts are interesting, as I worked with a buddy in that business. Still have a few items I found in those adventures.

Enjoyed the video Lots of work when it comes to house clean outs, I have friends that do them, not for me The knitted Boston Terrier was beyond cute! Bet it would sell well too Looked like a nice cowboy bandanna too, I’ve sold some really well I had a house with a great attic, my second wife stretched a rope down the middle. One side was for her stuff the other side for mine. How she was After some years Of course I filled my side up with stuff while her side had plenty of room. She told me not to even think about putting anything on her side of the Rope I used to fantasize about tossing that rope over a beam and hanging her...on her side of the attic! 😃

Sadly that hoping and longing for that clean out with all those vintage and antiques theres the fact that someone has to move into care or die. Please, please don't get me wrong, I know that Renee is sitting there hoping for someone to die so she can get her hands on all those vintage goodies. She isn't!!! It's just the facts of that business. I can imagine the grief stricken family members are more than greatful for these companies, like Renee said they do all the "dirty" work, they help the families who may be so grief stricken that they just can't sit there going through the family member's home which is full of memories, or even those who don't have the time to deal with what is needed to be done. They offer a helping hand during one of the most difficult times in one's life. I applaud these people.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 But I am sure there are those out there who couldn't give a 💩 and are in it only for the money.

Inhaling that kind of dust can be hard on you! I have a few of the things you moved around. I liked that Witch lamp! Kind of an odd color though. You always get into cool places.
