I personally don't think its trash neither nor it is a treasure,i think like these toys are now made for kids,so they are not as great as to deluxe class toys or so on,so its really down to personal preferene ( my opinion btw)😊

I have that Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal that comes with Skullcruncher and I feel like their armors are backwards. Prime's shoulders are hundered with the Lion but not with Skullcruncher, he actually retains his full articulation with Skullcruncher on... plus there was that episode of G1 where Prime was rebuilt into a alligator. Primal doesn't have the issues with his shoulders being hindered with the Lion on and it seems to be an intentional reference to the Beast Wars II movie in Japan where Primal and Lio Convoy met eachother. One thing I really don't get though is that Primal doesn't have elbow joints and there's another figure that is the same size seems to be almost the same mold but just has different arms and a different torso so it doesn't have the connected ports and that one does have elbows but it's the one that comes with a little Tigatron that turns into a weapon. I almost want to get that version and just swap the arms so he can have elbows.

Yeah, I got the Cheetor one from Cyberverse with the battleship, but didn't bother with any of the others. One thing they remind me of, and it didn't occur to me until you tried Scorponok, is the old Wave 4 Action Masters, where their partners became "battle helmets" instead of weapons. Putting Scorpy on like that made me think of Needler, who was Bombshell's beetle partner...

@@BotBenderOrinj There were two versions of the ship; the original was partnered with Bumblebee, then Cheetor got the redeco. I got it for the Cheetor more than the ship, though I did find a cool way to fold his arms up out of the way so it looks like the ship is his _actual_ arms. 😜 Among my various custom projects, I am toying with a little Needler figure to go with my Legacy Bombshell, though I feel like I might make him turn into a gun rather than a helmet... 🤔

honestly, if I was younger, I'd probs really like this type of line and even then, I'd probs want way more articulations from these guys. cause like, the gimmick is entertaing but there's not too much variation in how the armors flip out but the roater alone def deserves an extra point.

Yeah, I my nephew enjoys them. I'd love to have a version for older collectors, like a build-former animal that came fully apart.

For me, it comes down to articulation. Most of the robot figures in this line lack elbow joints, which brings the quality level down quite a bit. If it hadn't been for that, it would have been a very decent subline.

They did have a good idea here but totally ignored the legs, proportions are way off with the huge chonky shoulders and head 😄 like you said standalone they're not bad as individual figures, Optimus and pet lion 🤙 wonder if leo prime can weild that scimitar 🤷 I think his hands might flex to slip it in no diddy....NVM he got complete grip 🫤

Yeah, good concept, meh execution. I'd love if these beasts were mainline build-formers tho. Like one that could fully come apart, a la the Fossilizers, but no bot mode, just beast and bits.
