After only picking up trash items I could use personally, I've started doing what you do in White Plains NY and picked up curbside things to sell on marketplace. This week I sold a Step 2 toddler water table for $25, a shoe rack for $5, a Graco carseat stroller for $20, a rustic 24 inch wall mirror for $15, and a suitcase for $20. All these things I found within 2 blocks of my apartment while taking my dogs out and walked back with; didn't even have to waste money on gas. I'm having a lot of fun and feel good about saving these still useful things from the landfill!

I grew up going to the Jersey Shore! My brother and my niece have homes on SIC and my cousin in Wildwood. I grew up in Cherry Hill. I live in Michigan now but go every summer to the shore!!

Tucker you are always a joy to watch. It is good that you don’t take everything. Times are hard and people just are not buying. I have a black genuine coach bag that won’t sell. I posted it for 40 bucks. Even a fake is worth 40 bucks. This is real go figure. It even has an extra charm that holds pictures.

The little bit of rust on the chairs on the screws would go away with a little bit of Vaseline. Then wipe it off with the rust. Then reapply to keep it from rusting again. Good luck. Keep up the good work.

In my early 20’s we got our house, no furniture, just the basics. We went local refuse tips that were not then run by councils. Over just a few weeks after I renovated, cleaned, we had furniture for nothing but hard work in bringing back their beauty. Rugs and scrap metals, antiques, we sold and bought all our decorating materials. And our gardening tools. Eventually I worked with two Antique shops also two scrap merchants. Served us very well. 👍👍👍👍

SEA ISLE USED TO BE MY FAVORITE BEACH TOWN RO GO TO. FRIENDS OF MINE HAD A CONDO ON THE BEACH AND ID GO DOWN EVERY OCTOBER FOR A WEEK OR SO AND I HAD A DEAL WITH THEM THAT ID CLEAN THE PLACE AND THEY LET ME STAY FOR FREE. SO PEACEFUL THAT TIME OF YR. Our beaches here in Florida are still in a state of ruin , there's been no Government help of any kind, no national guard and everything from Miami to the panhandle on the West coast has piles of trash as tall as the houses they're in front of ..but we're strong together, we will recover, like we always do, Neighbors helping neighbors- To all my Florida brothers and Sisters : Stay strong help IS coming we got this!
