By popular demand, we slow things down a bit and trudge through some fresh snow for a little classic trash picking! Do we find bottles? Do we find scrap metal? Well we aren't going home empty handed!
My recommended wire stripper: amzn.to/3skf3ZF
The motorized stripper: amzn.to/3y0JMuQ
The wire cutters I like: amzn.to/2T6j3OW
This is the cheaper version: amzn.to/2SwrYsB
And here are those grips I recommend: amzn.to/2QCJmYl
(If you make a purchase on amazon through the links above, a small amount of what amazon makes on the sale is shared with me. It's a great way to help support my channel, at no additional cost to you. Even if you buy something other than my tool recommendations!)
Please like/share this video if you enjoyed it, and subscribe to thubprint!

Oooh - Old school. I love me some nostalgia! Cool, Thub. As far as regular videos like this, yes. I think I may speak for others in that it's nice to sort of hear the Thub stream of consciousness, it's soothing and relaxing to hear the crunching snow, and I like seeing the area. There's also more of an element of "what comes next," than one finds in more industrial settings. I appreciate that you take the time to get out there, even though this isn't the big money. I also saw what you did there, and am pretty convinced you are one of the kindest people I know. Oh . . and . . I would so have taken the flamingos home, and I'd have been all over that rhubarb. Rhubarb pie in February? Who cares if it was home frozen!

I am definitely NOT a panda. I have been owned by cats since my parents brought me home from the hospital. I'm pretty sure there was a cat in my bassinet; there were three who napped in my playpen for sure! I may be a cat in a girlsuit, but I ain't no panda. BTW = those diskettes are 5.25 floppies, not 8.5 inch floppies. I've used tons of the former ('cause I'm old like that) but never even seen the big boys. I stil find the 3.5 inchers in estate sales once in a blue moon and even have a few of my own. Nothing to read them on, but I have them. So yes, I can roll old school when needed.

I think it's interesting to watch from the street perspective every once in a while and that you combine finding interesting stuff by cleaning up places (leaving it better than you found it). It's simple and down to earth and when I'm out finding stuff it sometimes feels therapeutic if you have too much else to think about for the moment. Maybe it could be seen as a therapy? If you do not find anything interesting in terms of stuff found you have already gained exercise and done some exploration, like you said in the video. I don't really care what you do though, I will watch it anyway as long as the videos are consistently uploaded, are of good quality and are generally well thought out of in advance. I always like the idea of recycling materials, and more people should do it instead of wasting and throwing away stuff. It must be encouraged and easier for consumers to recycle and reuse, or this planet will drown in waste in the not so distant future.

not to be one of "those" comments but you shoulda grabbed all those old games, even the copies! there are certain versions of many games totally lost to time, and if some of those copies happened to be of a lost ROM then you woulda hit archive gold (: chances were slim but it was my first thought. great vid as always!

If one is going to do a run such as that then one might as well get in BEFORE the garbage truck. If someone else wants that beat AND they are doing it fully and properly and not incidentally cherry picking it then they can have it. Also, if the MRF or transfer station would specifically prefer it being left and IF they do, for an established fact, specifically retrieve all the ' goodies ', then leave it for the other collector[s] and the municipal people to sort that out.
