Only a personal suggestion because I've done something similar to what you're doing. I use a pitchfork to unload unwieldy objects like prickly shrubs, brush, etc. You can haul a larger amount each time than with just your hands. OR Put a tarp in the bed of your truck and just pull the tarp out to dump it all at once. Took me a few trips before I figured out the easier way.

just wondering why you take the motors off of the mowers. Do you get a better price for the motors by themselves or why do you do it. I always leave them on unless the mower deck is aluminum, then I will pull the motor off. other wise I just leave them hole. also this must be bike week everywhere. I found four bikes yesterday and five today. today was great. three full pickup loads and then another half before it got too dark. I'm going to hit it first light in the morning and finish all my usual routs and towns. Now if only the prices would go up we would be in great shape.

I have mixed feelings about scrapers. On one hand, many of them end up destroying perfectly salvageable vintage/obsolete technology. Free CRT!? Nope. Someone pinched the yoke. Oh cool! A dimension 2400! And... it's off to be torn to dust. But the other, those that also refurbish/resell this stuff keep them from being destroyed. Also, money from free shit! Well, labor. But still!
