Very refreshing to watch a video where the narrator knows the content and narrates it competently
@hiccup1dt1022 ай бұрын
And this isn't the narrator, Hopkins " I'll never let a white boy beat me" was in reference to Joe Calzaghe, (white) who went on to beat Hopkins in a split decision. The footage of Hopkins getting knocked out of the ring was a later fight against Joe Smith. The narrator is obviously conflating two different fights.

What l liked about Mike Tyson is, when he won, he didn't run around in the ring shouting, doing back flips, and jumping up on the ropes. He went to his beaten opponent to see if he was alright. That's real class !

@@Michael-om7uq "The guys dancing and running their mouth in the ring" Key words "in the ring" Of course there are arrogant assholes in every race. Talking smack before a fight is part of the fight game, it always has been. Most of the time it is fake to make people think the fighters hate each other, to generate hype. Doing it in the ring is completely different. There is no reason for it because it doesn't generate any hype at that point. If someone does it in the ring he really is an arrogant asshole. If you don't notice who is doing it in the ring then you are color blind, or simply delusional about the truth. You're not some Far-Left Snowflake are you ? They are the ones who always make excuses for a black person no matter what the facts are. What about the mobs of people looting in the stores all over the country ? Do you see anything that they have in common ? If you say no then you are definitely a Far-Left Snowflake. Facts aren't racist. Black people complain about it more than white people because they are the ones who suffer the most. Their community is the one being painted with the same broad brush because of the low-class thugs and thieves that are part of their community. The decent black people are the majority but they still can't get rid of the scumbag murderers and criminals in their midst.

I'm not the trash talk type. Even when I'm in a street fight, I don't exchange profanity or threats. When someone tells me what they are going to do too me? I just say "You did the easy part, you said it." At this point my thoughts are... "There ain't but a few feet of distance between us, so we better get to it!"

There is an unwritten rule that is honored by most training facilities, dojos and MMA camps that if someone comes off the street and disrespects the facility it MUST be answered. It is beyond bad taste to just walk in and challenge a master.

I enjoyed this commentary. I agree, Dominick Reyes beat Jon Jones. I also agree with the points made about jiu-jitsu. However, I prefer a humble fighter with skills, over a trash talking fighter with skills. And if a trash talking fighter doesn't have the skills? They never live it down! It doesn't make sense to put that added pressure on the fight. Besides, whatever shortcomings they're claiming I have? Is usually their reality not mine. And they inadvertently give me a good strategy plan.

@warrenholmes331117 күн бұрын
When referring to taunting 6:45 or so, you asked the question about taunting and you sating that is pretty cool -- or words similar to that. In Former Bengals Tight End, Bob Trumpy discussed one of his first touchdowns -- spiking the ball (a form of taunting and used so as to taunt, BTW) and his head coach Paul Brown told him... 'Act like you've been there before.' There's your answer. There is no reason to taunt. It is an egoistic 'bull-crap' action done by someone who is, ultimately, insecure in their own skin. Insecure as themselves -- a 'faker'. Simple as that. That's why when someone who is taunting, gets their collective: "'rear-end' handed to them", the general populace (and in this case -- EVEN YOU) cheers. It is because people do not like this, and someone got their 'come-uppance'. So, in effect, you answered you own idiotic question.

Being a man means you are a walking contradiction. As a fighter and as a man you want to go out on your shield, but as a smart man knowing when to call it quits is also the right thing to do. and on pure logic you stop the fight in order to decrease damage so you can have a long career. and in a logical smart mans world you would never enter a fight at all. @hiccup1dt1022 ай бұрын
No, that's a myth, there's no law that says your hands and feet are registered weapons. Now here's the rub, you can still be charged for using a deadly weapon as happened to MMA fighter Jamal Parks in 2015 when he attacked a cop. He received 6 years.
