Hey Dan heres an interesting fact for you. The need to use a brake van on a fitted train was removed in 1968. Those china clay wagons, OOV type, all had vacuum brakes, so for their last 20 years of service didn't run with brake vans.

Hi, very good video of a very good loco, I have 2 of these class 67’s in my collection, one of them I bought from a retailer down south which arrived with glazing issues and intermittent working lighting at one end, I fixed all the issues as it was difficult to do, I always remove the suppressors from my locos because they can effect dcc decoders, in general the Hornby class 67’s are great locos, there is a Platinum jubilee model coming out in a few months that interest me, I just hope Hornby haven’t cut corners by the removing wheels bearings to cut costs, they tend to do this or the factory just do their own thing like the incorrect colours on models that Hornby let through, I will wait until someone like Sam’s Trains thoroughly goes through the model to see if it’s worth buying, thanks for sharing.

Hiya Dan. I’m watching all of your videos. Amazing, given me hope of restoring some of mine, others will go to you! Anyways, where did you get the labelle 106 from? It only seems available in the US? Cheers. Dave.
