Hi Dan and good to meet up with you yesterday! 👍🏻. It’s amazing that with a few hours work and a huge amount of knowledge that you can resurrect a non running loco given to you in bits and make it look and run like it does at the end of the video. Great video Dan. Some info you might like to know, the tender on this loco is an early Stanier tender not fowler. Numbers 6200 and 6201 carried these from new. They were replaced with standard Stanier high sided tenders after 18 months due to the lack of water and coal capacity. Keep up the good work. Chris

Great bit of real life working dog filming, many years ago I had a springer with that same in bred ability for any game , however whilst beating with him for partridge he went on point ,! Gun position s we’re altered due to the situation, beaters repositioning , etc. closer and closer still no flush of anything whatsoever until I was on top of him A TORTOISE. in a clover field. Totally befallen I picked the critter up and put in a friend’s game bag That incident caused much amusement with guns and beaters. Happy days out !, keep em coming

I have had a secondhand lima n gauge loco with a crazed commutator. It didn't run, and I thought that something like electrolube had been used on it in a previous life. Would be interested in other peoples comments on the cause.

Not sure if it applies to N guage, but I once had an issue with a OO ringfield that was due to a problem with the magnet. I just replaced the motor with one from my parts bin, so didn't get to solve the issue.

Goes to show that there is no such such as "just another Ringfield motor service."
