Enjoyed your makeovers. The last box gave you trouble with streaking. Another channel sprays shellac then paints her second coat. Seems to work well. Liked your finished projects.

It wasn't bleed through as much as that it was a slick, plasticy service. But definitely should have primed it with either shellac or something. The paint would just scrap off and show that blue shiny underneath.

Great projects. Zinsser spray shellac works on bleed through. Good luck with your channel. Looking forward to more videos.

Thanks! The issue was less bleed through and more that it was a shiny, slick surface. But I definitely should have used shellac or some sort of primer first.

What kind of sand putty did you use?

I use Durham's water putty. It's so easy to use and very cost effective.
