Oh my goodness 😍 these books turned out fabulous ❤ I kid you not, I went to dumpster to throw some trash. As I swung the bag over, I saw lots of books . The best part was they were all old,old books. Even found one from 1931. Anyhow, I've always wanted to make a book table . To figure out what I could do with lots of books,started watching videos. Your videos,have been the easiest and most beautiful ideas for books. Thank you for sharing your talent. God bless you sweetie 🙏

Great craft idea. I haven't been able to find a simple craft the doesn't require paint. This was it. I want to decorate some books with a small scholar cap and so many more ideas spinning in my head. What fun it was watching you do this craft.

Absolutely love your videos, crafts are out of this world fantastic! Thank you for the motivation to declutter my home room by room. Your crafts and talent are superb! I must say to me there is nothing more beautiful then vintage, old world, classic timeless beauty! I’m so saddened by the cold, modern world of today. Everything is so sterile with no color today in design with no soul or warmth! Thank you for bringing beauty and warmth in your designs, I love it so much! Your videos you have done are marvelous and your such a hardworking, lovely, funny lady! Your channel deserves a million followers and beyond really - your a gem here. Thank you and we appreciate you very much! Your family is so blessed to have you! Xo, from Chicago

Great video! You did such an amazing job with your book stacks. If anyone is like me and afraid of stamping directly onto the book spines for fear of messing them up, maybe try this........I drew a light pencil line onto a piece of tracing paper, then stamp your letters onto the tracing paper using archival ink. Once dry cut out the word and glue that down onto your book spine. The tracing paper is thin enough where it just blends in and disappears. If your tracing paper is too white, you can always try tea dying it for a few seconds before hand. Hope this can help someone make these amazing book stacks!

Oh yes that is a great tip!! I too get nervous when stamping so I might try that technique next time

Hi Lisa from Florida. Your book stack creations are so easy yet so pretty too. I do have a question though, you don’t glue the three books together, only stack them on top of each other? Thanks so much for your inspiration! PS…I love your accent! Where are you from? I see that you hot glued some of them.😊
@LiveItLikeLisa Жыл бұрын
You can either glue them or leave them separate it’s up to you really. I’m originally from England but have been in Australia since I was 4yrs

These must admit these are super cute.. Such a shame that reading actual books seems to be going the way of the Dodo. There's nothing quite like the feel of a book, getting lost amongst the pages. The lovely smell of an old bookstore that stubbornly & thankfully refuses to give up an inch of precious book space for a Cafe. (I'm a diehard coffee drinker as well but finding a traditional bookstore is such a total sensory treasure)
@LiveItLikeLisa2 жыл бұрын
Oh I 100% agree with you, I love smelling a new book and turning the pages to read through it although having just subscribed to audible I can also see the benefits of listening to a book while you work or exercise and do other things
